The wrath of God cannot come quickly enough for these sickos.
Woodchipper go Brrrrr
Makes one think why their "TOS" age verification is 13?
Go to Skittles pride emblazoned website... No access until birthday verification. Input a day (maybe month) under their magically chosen number, then put a day/month over... Access granted
Yet every single firearms related site prompts "are you 18?" Some even ask 21
www.skittles.com
"Want to experience the rainbow?"
"First we need to know your birthday to make sure you can handle this much fun."
🤢🤮
The stupidest part is that nobody thinks a 12 year old would have the ability to put in a fake birthday. I hate all these websites that ask for your birthday. Since when was asking someone their birthday, verification for ANYTHING?
It’s wild should be a verified ID showing 18 +
Those pedo accounts should be easy to find, publish & prosecute to the largest millstone of the law
There is no way Mark Zuckerberg could sexually harass that many kids in a day.
BUT, allowing users to, means Zucks complicity in the slime.

The 100,000 number is an estimate. Who was doing the estimating, and on what factual data was it based?
I just recently bought a smartphone for my daughter. She's nearly 16 and just graduated junior high yesterday. I told her no FB and no TikTok. I told her that Twitter and IG are alright, as long as she does not post content of her own, or post any messages indicating her age.
I really don't use any of that shit. Is there any way possible that those 100,000 kids to be found by predators without revealing themselves online? They are safe as long as they just lurk, right?
EDIT: Great, downvote someone for asking a question. Feels like Reddit...
Bruh kids don’t need smartphones, you are literally trusting someone her with unlimited access to the new controller web
I do not live in the USA. Try telling that to the school that essentially mandates these damned things. The high school system in my country basically requires smartphones to post information about crap. I prevented her from having a smartphone up until now, but unfortunately the school system depends on them. (And no, there's no such thing as "homeschooling" in my country. The positive thing is that she was learning trigonometry in the 5th grade and there's no faggy crap in the curriculum.) I have parental filters set up, and we have family rules that will have her usage of it restricted. She can't have it in her bedroom, etc.
I found it to be useful to arm my daughter with information about what to look for, and where not to go. Every kid is different, but they're more capable of self regulation and preservation than we might think, when they've been offered information.
Thanks. I've been pretty straightforward with my daughter. I never told her that Santa Claus is real. I've told her about child trafficking. I've shown her how to spot fraudulent emails that may appear in her inbox. All she's interested in is looking at sharks, cats, and liminal space photography. I'm not at all concerned that she's going to find devious stuff; I just don't want devious people to find her.
You've raised her with respect, and she respects herself enough to not be subject to those who wish to harm her. Off topic, but there's a game called Endless Ocean with lovely music that she might like.
As long as games can be played offline, that's fine with me. I don't think my wife wants her putting games on her phone much, unless they are free. Currently she's been playing the crap out of Undertale on Steam via our Linux desktop computer.
The thing about Japan is that although there are adult men who may fetishize the whole schoolgirl aesthetic, schoolgirls themselves are not sexualized. They are forbidden to wear makeup, wear pierced ears, etc. I see some girls who are 15 and still haven't begun shaving their legs yet. There's more of an innocence here.
This! One of the people I follow on Ytube was this way with their daughter. A kid from school posted on her facebook page dirty stuff and begged for a topless photo. She being informed immediately took it to her parents and the were able to contact the kids parents. She trusted her parents and they trusted her.
Aww, The school system depends on the smart phone. Nice way to track children. These people are sick.
I’ve thought for a long time these platforms could avoid a whole lot of legal moral and ethical issues by requiring all users be at least 18
it’s messed up - they only tried to address it when an apple exec’s kid was harrassed
not good
leads me to believe that if 100,000 kids are being harassed, around 100,000 pedophiles are running loose on those platforms every day.
And that is why parents need to control phone and computer usage. It s okay to have a phone for emergency contact, but everything else should be eradicated. If there isn’t a phone company that provides this function for a slight fee, attach it to parental phone charges for a $5-10./month fee, there should be. Basic flip phone should do the job.
