Sex belongs in a music class as much as music belongs in a sex-ed/health class. Maybe touched upon (i.e. there is music about the subject of sex, music can set the mood for a good time with your partner) but 7th graders already know this.
We as parents or grandparents we need to review EVERY assignment that is given and ask our kids to send a phone pic of it if they can. Or they can bring it home and review, create a network of parents to connect with in this kind of endeavor. because some kids don't want to tell the parents.
