Look at all the corruption and lies we have been exposed to in the last 100 years. If Trump does declass everything, the public is going to lose all faith in the Government. The only way forward might be to create a new Government based on our Constitution. We might need to start over just to establish trust again. What is currently running the country is tainted beyond belief, true evil. Our current structure has shown that it is unstable and a cancer. It HAS to be cut out and burned. Is Trump the last US President? I honestly believe so

Yes. A constitutional Republic.
"If we can keep it." B.F.
And we didn't keep it. What is going to change so that we can keep it?
Renamed "Republic of United States of America".
Just putting that out there again
Because radical left wing extremists hate the word Republic—unless it's preceded by the words "Democratic People's". Then it's OK.
Not a new form of government, a restored form of government where the US Corporation and central banking no longer exist.
I have wondered about that. If the Republic was hijacked back in the late 1700's (I think), then everything built with respect to governance under "corporate" America could be wiped away. Then we would have the task of retrofitting our systems into the new "old" Republic. There would have to be some give and take compromise. My bet is that the Plan already has this figured out and we'll have several years of transition.
THIS
Keep the constitution, shrink the Fed govt back to original size and influence, go back to the evil days of states rights.
All we need to do is actually live by Constitutional governance. Hardly anybody knows what the constitution (the supreme law of the land) even says, let alone holds politicians and other officials accountable. I will be happy to simply live as the founders intended, and follow our original constitution.
No new form needed. Just go back to the constitution.
I would recommend we re-start with the original constitution, and this time eliminate completely the administrative state. But we can probably get there from here with one supreme court ruling that affirms that ONLY congress can write laws.
Yes but 90+% of what we know as the fedgov is actually illegitimate under the Constitution. Almost all federal bureaucracies, where members of Congress have delegated their authority to unelected bureaucrats, are illegitimate. CIA, FBI, ATF, DEA, IRS, etc., etc. also. Bye-bye.
It will necessarily be indistinguishable from a new form of govt if we shrink it back to where it should be. (Hooray!)
If we actually followed the constitution, then 99% of what the federal government does would disappear, yes.
It would be a man in the oval office, with his butler and waiter, writing letters to foreign nations to leave us the hell alone or we'd nuke them. And when a foreign ambassador came to visit, the president himself would answer the door, just like President Jefferson did.
Congress critters would assemble for two months, max, and then retreat back home to stay out of the literal swamp that is DC. In the 10 other months, the president would make sure the Supreme Court didn't say anything silly and the rest of the world didn't say anything mean about us without eternal consequences.
The only NEW form we'll see, is the correct 'constitutional form' of government that has been missing for decades. Even in the 80's we were not functioning under the constitution. So we won't see NEW, we will see WHAT HAS BEEN MISSING, AND CORRUPTED.
Hopefully d/t criminal behavior and to balance the budget, government becomes leaner with defunding of many agencies: NIH, FDA, CDC, CIA, Dept. of Education, FBI, IRS, DHS, DCFS, etc. Where deemed necessary, some might be repurposed in a smaller manner, with a limited budget. Every penny of taxpayer dollars must be accounted for and books open to taxpayers/the public. All unnecessary funding is cut: i.e. trains to nowhere, the mating habits of mosquitoes, NPR, Kennedy Center, etc.
What ever happens, the next decade will be "interesting times" as the Chinese say.
When has it ever been uninteresting times
More than likely. It’s no secret or Great Surprise to say that the last 100-150 odd years especially in particular the last decade have demonstrated a complete and utter failure of Western Values. And have soured much of the world on values U.S Political Parties both mainstream and otherwise continue to espouse as the only ‘Just’ form of Government.
We probably aren’t going back to any sort of Government based on the Constitution, at least the one initially ratified in 1788. Despite what some have claimed. Considering just how few of the population could actually vote then. And how few today would be willing to give the right to vote up. Even though they actually rarely use it. Irregardless of whatever the founders originally intended the country to look like.
Not to mention if there is any international alliance. It’s doubtful they’d be willing to role the dice again. Without some serious checks and ability to take the teeth out of us at will. In case “The People” fall asleep at the wheel again. Considering we went from that theoretical ideal Republican Government to an Oligarchy that inflicted its will on the rest of the world at gunpoint in a bit less than 200 years.
I’ve heard quite a few different variations and suggestions from different people on solutions. Some have suggested eliminating the Executive Branch entirely and further empowering the dysfunction corrupt mess that is Congress. Under the idea they’d be too busy tearing each other apart. To otherwise bother the people overly much
I’ve heard replacing the Executive Branch and position of the Presidency. With a role or position that would eliminate the political parties having the ability to feud over it and postings to executive agencies. Thereby limiting the feuding and dysfunction of the political parties to the Legislative and a lesser extent the Judiciary. And also giving the American people some sense of stability instead of the parties who spend the bulk of their term in the Oval Office undoing, or attempting to undo the previous guys work in office to spite the opposition party.
Suffice to say. The next Decade or two should be interesting.
I'm hoping it will be some form of Xenocracy.
Xenocracy (noun):
A form of government where the leaders come from as far away as possible from all other existing governing bodies.
That's "The Plan"
Great post OP!
If you believe the Bible, Monarchies are coming back in a big way. Constitutional monarchy? I'm not saying I agree, I'm saying that's what I see in the tea leaves.
"And immediately I was carried away in the Spirit. And behold I saw a throne. And the one who sat on the throne had the (orange) appearance of jasper and carnelian..." ~Revelation 4:3
"Biblical"
"Deeper we go the more unrealistic it all becomes."
If you don't have "eyes to see or ears to hear," please lmk by posting any hate/doubts/opinions below. 👇🏼 It won't make it any less of a certainty.
Where We Go 1 We Go All!!!
I believe Abolish, is the word used by the framers of the Constitution.
Step 1 : we have the gold Step 2 : no more 2 party system (multiple parties) Step 3 : constitutional governance with military oversight
We don't need a new form of government, we need to cut out the cancerous population, return to the constitution and God.
