They would be publicly exposed/humiliated and then shuffled off the board. We'll see. The Dems don't follow the rules and they have already shown that they will flaunt the law in order to retain power. They are in a very tough spot. Panic and desperation has made them do crazy stuff in the past. I put nothing past them.
I think that the Dem elite now knows that they have no chance of winning with Biden (even with cheating).
They have a very weak bullpen of potential candidates (Newsom, Hillary, Big Mike) all of which have baggage with their base and major issues with Independents.
They have very unpopular policies (open border, inflation, endless wars, high energy prices, CRT, LBGT, wokeism, etc)
And so far, they have been unable to eliminate Trump (by impeachment, numerous hoaxes, FBI raiding Mar-a-lago and planting documents, lawfare, MSM fake news, numerous assassination attempts, etc). He just keeps going higher in the polls.
I, personally, don't think Big Mike wants all the hassle, plus with the way we are--everyone will know what kind of a "girly-man" she is. I don't think he or his husband want that out yet. I may be wrong, but I think they want to keep it under wraps for now. Hillary, on the other hand, be she a stand-in or the actual one would not mind being the president of of (as Biden would say, now) United States America😎.
I went to a water aerobics class this am. One woman said she fell asleep 5 minutes into the debate. That allowed the topic open and I found out the majority of them were appalled at how badly Biden did. They all thought that he’d be replaced. And one woman said he’d be replaced by Michelle Obama. It was interesting that they all agreed.
