Two Words folks..... Chevron Deference. When the SCOTUS overturned it they literally put an end to most red tape. If it's NOT A LAW PASSED BY CONGRESS then they can kick rocks.

Yeah 10 years ago I'd agree. Now? Pfft .. you've got NY and CA people moving and importing their politics to red states in droves. It's a real problem in many places. They want all the benefits of "low insanity" rural life, but they're bringing their bs with them. C19 exodus really kicked this bs into high gear. Places like TX put up billboards essentially telling people from blue states moving there to literally leave their woke politics where they came from.

If you want a great book to read about small farms and what our government and Monsanto etc. did to our small town's farming societies in the past, get a copy of "Animal Vegetable Miracle" by Barbara Kingsolver. Try to get an original edition from 2007. It's an eye opener. Destruction and control of our food started a long long time ago. Whole communities were destroyed by their regulations and controls.
