Can you share how much you took and with what frequency. I have a 24/7 headache after surgery and I've tried so many pills it's ridiculous so I'm thinking of trying ivermectic and I wonder the daily dosage. Can anyone help me out here who is/has taken it regularly.

If you were given a spinal, the cause is that cerebrospinal fluid is leaking through the hole punctured into the dura (the sheath around the spinal cord). That happens during spinals. The fix is a "blood patch." The doctor, usually an anethesiologist, draws some blood from you and injects it into the spinal area. The blood coagulates and forms a patch to keep the fluid from escaping.

That's very interesting. I'm glad it wasn't what I had. I had an acoustic neuroma removed from my brain right behind my right ear,

Did u have a spinal block or tap where fluid was removed? Ivermectin won't help that.

Study of one:

I am a mosquito magnet. When I take IVM, and I'm not as attractive to them. I quit for about a month, and now I can't keep them off of me even with with DEET. I started back up again this morning and will see if it helps again.

I also read a study that they die quickly after biting someone with IVM onboard, so I may take it all summer long!

It’s used as a topical ingredient for flea and tick prevention. Kills mange mites and more.

How much and how often do you take it? My husband is a mosquito magnet too. We're in GA so we have mosquitoes 9 months out of the year. If this could work for him that would be great.

By any chance does your husband have O- blood? Asking because both myself and bydesign are.

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 2 ▼
– helenofthewest 2 points 1 year ago +2 / -0

We're not sure what type he has...need to get that figured out (for other reasons)...long story why we don't have any of his medical records. It would be interesting if he has O- and thay's why he gets bitten up all the time. He just said he thinks he might have that type, he can't remember. I almost never get bitten (even before I started taking IVM...except for FL mosquitoes...those always get me).

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 1 ▼
– GDZeus 1 point 1 year ago +1 / -0

Just thought it would be pretty interesting if he was O- too, lol. I have read that people with O- blood are attractive to mosquitoes for some reason. If you look it up you'll probably find it pretty easy.

I didn't know and even my parents had no idea that I was O- until I got pregnant with my 1st child. Though all my children do not have the same blood type as me. As far as I know I'm the only person in my family that has this blood type. At least I know I can give blood to anyone with any blood type, but people with O- blood can only get O- blood if we need blood.

▲ 2 ▼
– helenofthewest 2 points 1 year ago +2 / -0

Interesting. I will look into it, as well as get him tested. Unless any other blood types are attractive to mosquitoes, it's likely he's O- then. They really go after him. That would be good though if he's a universal donor, since my parents are getting older and we want to be available in case they ever happen to need a transfusion of unvaxxed blood.

I’m A+ blood type and mosquitoes have always loved me, since I was a child playing in the creek. I have about 15 bites right now, hate using DEET too… about to pick up more IVM.

Thanks for saying this, I got bit up (like 10 bites in a few minutes of being outside) last evening and wanted to take ivermectin today. Usually if I take an allergy pill after getting bit up and can resist the urge to scratch, they go away pretty quickly. But it’s good to know that if I take ivermectin that it will deter or kill them if they do bite me. Serves the little blood suckers right, lol.

I’ve always been a mosquito magnet and recently realized that extends to ants too apparently. I have 0- blood, so I took it as a big reason they are attracted to me. Even as a child I would get bitten up by them.

Edit to add: I would also like to know your dosage & if you take it everyday?

▲ 2 ▼
– bydesign 2 points 1 year ago +2 / -0

I'm O- as well. Maybe we're just extra tasty?

As for dosage, I do the paste since I have livestock anyway and it's the easiest for me to get. I hit it hard this morning and went with a 500 lb dose; I'll knock back to 250 tomorrow. I'm planning on doing three tubes, then I'll take a break and come back again with fenbendazole.

The other thing that's helpful to me is something called the "Bug Bite Thing". If you use that in a quick time after being bit or stung, it helps a ton.

"Bug Bite Thing"

Yeah I have that too, use that and some "After Bite" stuff and take an allergy pill.

https://afterbite.com/

I wonder if we were to put ivermectin paste directly onto a bite it would help? 🤔

I took just a 12mg pill (I buy them online) today, I really should take 2 - 12 mg pills I think, but I usually only do that if I'm sick, which I'm not sick very often.

I'm betting it couldn't hurt! I'll try it since I've got an open tube.

I personally have used it against influenza, Covid, strep throat, sinus infection, and most recently stage III colon cancer.

I quit chemo after 1 horrifying side-effects dose.

But with a strict keto diet, took ivermectin, fenbendazole and O.T.C antacid Cimetidine (all have documented anti-cancer properties). I’m 5 months out from diagnosis and cancer-free (to the chagrin of my oncologist.) BTW, standard protocol oncology is the work of THE DEVIL.
