She muted me on twitter for disagreeing with her defense of prescribing Ozempic for weight loss and especially after I shared a link to the drug’s side effects - which is the 1st stated warning on the Ozempic site - that it can cause thyroid cancer, along with my additional thoughts on why it was dangerous, and pointing out how strange it is that doctors never seem to recommend exercise, dietary changes, vitamins and natural supplements, and are so quick to write prescriptions, for weight loss or other conditions.

Ozempic is for lazy cheaters who don't want to just watch what they eat and go to the gym, things that are much safer for you than a drug and you'll learn better habits so that you don't just fatten right back up like everyone does when they run out of Ozempic. It's the fat-loss equivalent of anabolics, you might look like you've been in the gym for five years within only six months but if you stop you'll rapidly lose the muscle that a natty would have kept and the natty won't have heart damage as well.

I'm approaching 60 and know that I'm about 10-20 lbs overweight...but you motherfuckers who are taking Ozempic to wipe out your dozens of pounds of obesity AND (likely) diabetes?? Decades ago I did the Atkins Diet 3 separate times for about 3 months each time. I lost a lot of weight... The first cookie screws you because of the sugar/carb addiction.
In 2017 I cycled 3K miles in 2 months (50 Miles a day average) lost some weight, but not as much as you would think because that much exercise makes you hungry as heck.
My most successful weight loss was in 2011 when I cycled 13 miles each way to work AND ate less meat, bread, and junk.
It takes diet and exercise.
It's a lifetime battle... I'm not as heavy as I was, but not nearly where I need to be.
