I think he meant to get their lazy asses to vote this time and then they can stay home after that because everything will be wonderful and their votes wont be needed in the future like they are this one time. There is no vote time after this if he doesn't win in 24, all will be lost.
Only about 60% of the voting age population votes in presidential elections. Many Christians simply do not vote. Trump wants them to vote this time, and then they can go back to not voting.
It's not about what he wants. It's about encouraging a segment of society that normally does not vote to at least vote in the upcoming election. Trump claims after that the elections will be clean with the deep state taken out of the election process, so they can go back to nonvoting after this one time.
fyi, there are many "christian" communities that are not participating in elections. i hear many different reasons, some even find thin scriptural references. bottom line, a sizeable christian population never goes to the polls. (the primary argument is all politicians are sinners, they don't want to associate)
A lot of Modern Evangelicals aren’t necessarily consistent voters and don’t regularly head to the polls.
So one way of interpreting it. “If you help me over the finish line. I’m going to fix this country to the point you won’t need to worry about doing something you hate doing in the first place.”
Another way. “After this next time. You won’t have to plug your nose and vote for me or my preferred successor because I would have fixed things.”
That of course being a reference to him being a less than “Model Christian” which some Evangelical Christians have had a problem with.
There’s also the obvious Caesar implication. Which to be brutally honest. After the initial shock and As long as he and his heirs respected the Bill of Rights and the rights of the citizens and kept Taxes to a minimum/non-existence. I don’t think most of the country would honestly care what whoever sat their ass in the fancy chair in Washington was calling themselves.
There’s of course the Ingersoll Lockwood book “Last President” where a Socialist Congress more or less seizes control of the country via a somewhat naive young populist president. Some have interpreted it to be a prophecy of sorts.
Some who claim to be in the know have dropped various vague references as to what he was really referring to.
With some inferring a reformation of Government and a reorganization of the executive branch under a new name to break with the sordid history of the position and the less than stellar pasts of many who’ve occupied the post.
Others claiming a vague solution involving AI in some capacity. So on and so forth. With all different flavors of conspiracy and theory being indirectly referenced.
What he has been saying from the start. He is giving the power back to the people you do not need a president you just need it fixed. There is no need for anything other than a minimum government.
He means that a lot of people don't even bother to vote. He's telling them to get off of their asses and do it this time, because right now, it's all hands on deck. Once he gets in and fixes the BS, we won't have to flood the polls as hard next time. Personally, I wish everyone would stop being lazy and always vote, but some people just can't be bothered...Being complacent is part of the reason why we're in this mess.
The easiest way to lose it again would to once again grow complacent in over-watch. And if I thought Trump actually wanted to rule like the TDS folks, this could sound like a warning. Fact is we ought work to shrink every government entity across the nation. Federal, State, County and city. I am not going to hold my breath while waiting for that to happen.

Sounds to me like there will be no presidential elections going forward.
Only about 60% of the voting age population votes in presidential elections. Many Christians simply do not vote. Trump wants them to vote this time, and then they can go back to not voting.
Why would he want them to stop voting?
It's not about what he wants. It's about encouraging a segment of society that normally does not vote to at least vote in the upcoming election. Trump claims after that the elections will be clean with the deep state taken out of the election process, so they can go back to nonvoting after this one time.
But why would he want to endorse people to stop voting?
He's not endorsing it. He is asking people to vote this one time, and after that, they can go back to ignoring the elections.

I have encountered many of these. Some of the most foolish, ignorant and unbiblical people out there. Talking to them is like pushing a rope.

Amazing. No Fed govt, just states running their own shows. What a huge raise, just to eliminate income tax.
I hope that's what he means
He means that a lot of people don't even bother to vote. He's telling them to get off of their asses and do it this time, because right now, it's all hands on deck. How do you explain him saying that they will no longer need to vote afterwards?
I heard it like just get out there and then we don't have to worry about it for four more years.
Trump said Christians rarely get out and vote, most Christians don't bother. That part is [deceptively?] edited out of this clip [missing context].
