They just bombed the leaders of Hamas in Lebanon and Iran, that's killing Soleimani, that's how you end wars.
The last time Israel tangled with Hezbollah they got their butts kicked very badly, the IDF had to retreat in a humiliated and tangled up mess.

A building in Beirut, Lebanon has been destroyed in what Israel said was a targeted attack on a Hezbollah commander. The strike has raised concerns of a wider war in the region.

Twelve people died in the Druze village of Majdal Shams on Saturday, most of them children, when a rocket hit a football pitch. The IDF blamed Hezbollah, which denied responsibility. The Shia militant group has said that it would respond to any Israeli strike.

I don't see the "Holy Shit" in this. It is just a normal Tuesday in the ME. Israel sent a bomb to a specific building. They didn't send scuds aimlessly through the air hitting whatever they hit. To me it looks like Beirut FAFO'd. I don't even care which side is responsible for this whole round of bombings. Maybe it goes further or maybe they stop - who knows (or cares)? Both sides have been doing this for a long time.
I wonder if everyone just ignored all of them if they would just go away? No more news, no more money to either side(s) - just tell them they are on their own until they either finish it or die trying. Add a caveat that if they use a nuke, so will we.
For that matter, it would be a good strategy for Ukraine as well. Zelensky would disappear in a heartbeat and there would be peace.
