Even simpler logic. Simply change the law to require the same ID rules for voting, buying alcohol and buying a gun. Problem solved.

Forgive me for asking this but I am not for the US and can someone clarify the voting process for me? Are you saying that there is absolutely no ID or any other check at a voting booth? Not even a registered list??
You register to vote with your local county. You show up to vote and they ask your name, address and age. They match it to their registered voter list. They give you a ballot and you vote.
What could go wrong?
Some states are now requiring the voter to show some sort of ID. I think they'll take a passport or just a drivers license. However, many states give DLs to illegals.
NJ does indeed give illegals DLs.

Idk about all areas but I have always had to show my id or my voters registration (given when you register to vote).
It should be illegal for people to promote doing something illegal like voting for non citizens.. oh it is: Promoting Unlawful Activity and False advertising.

I don't understand why people wouldn't have ID. Is there a fee to get a basic ID? If so, that needs to stop. It only gives cheaters an excuse. I think the government ID should be available without charging any fee. Then you can't complain it's racist without implying that minority races aren't smart enough. Now how do you prove citizenship to get your ID? Birth records if you were born in the USA. I guess if you immigrate and become a citizen that comes with ID? There needs to be zero excuse. Buying booze is not a right, so not exactly an apples to apples comparison. Voting is a right, so nothing should stop someone from being able to do it if they are eligible. Besides possibly the cost of obtaining ID, are there any other legitimate barriers?
