Seems like this would be a great opportunity for Trump to organize, (strictly non-political) all his billionaire buddies who either have helicopters, or can lease one, to show their compassion and come to the aid of these groups.
They are destroying land they want. This is a land grab like the ones that built the railroads. In my area they are flooding out old houses they want the land to build condos.
A strong reminder that it's "We the people..." that make up this country. Libs have gotten too comfortable with the idea that the government is their friendly spoon-feeding dispenser of safety. Not true at all. It's people, community.
These structures and connections need to be rebuilt and recognized as important in culture again. It's something to be STRONGLY prioritized moving forward.
I hope the voters in NC remember this on election day. Who helped them most? Was it FEMA? Was it their Governor? Or did they both leave you stranded while they wrung their hands and held numerous press conferences? Vote the Dems out of office at every level of government. Trump will move heaven and earth to help you rebuild your lives or whatever is left of them.
I've been following Garrett Mitchell (@ garrett . mitchell . 927) on fbook. He has a helicopter and has been flying in supplies & resources, and taking out people and pets. He has taken video of MANY other helicopters flown by civilians who are the ones getting the jobs done.
There are no valid authorities there. They've abrogated their authority when they proved to be so incompetent. If they get in our way we will lock them away and throw away the key.
