Yeah, and they would've been fine if Duke Energy didn't open the dam causing the mudslides and flooding with no warning to the people. WHY??!

When flooding is expected they have to open the gates so the dam won't fail. I live next to the overflow and if a big storm or the melt off of snow is to much they always open it up. The mudslides came off the hills that had nothing to do with the dam. It was too much water at once that caused it, using weather mod., and it has been proven on "redacted".
People still don't believe they have that kind of technology. That's why.

It is common practice to drain a reservoir prior to a major rain event because a dam COULD fail if the additional rain raises the water level in the reservoir too fast for the spillway to accommodate.

You know this is happening right now as we speak. People are not leaving and they are rebuilding with donation from patriots. I just donated to a couple whose house got washed away. Gofundme page for them got about half already in the last several weeks. Americans at their best right now by standing up and helping others despite the evil government letting them die.
