I've spent quite a bit of time living in Canada. They definitely live in the shadow of the USA and know it.
Imagine sharing a room with a twin brother who grew up to be the larger than the life football team captain. He brings home chicks at night. His buddies come in the room and call you shrimp and mess with your shit. They smoke in the room. They spill beer on your bed. They shave your eyebrows and draw dicks on your face with magic marker.
The major cities of Canada are their own methlabs. Vancouver and Montreal are toxic hellholes. Toronto still has mixed charm, but it definitely has a streets where fentanyl has completely taken over.
If you get into the areas outside the major cities (where I spent most of my time)... that's where you find those quaint cozy homes. However, they are all in deep trouble with their youth. I met some amazing young people while I was there but most of the youth I dealt with were living lives like they were on permanent spring break in Ft Lauderdale. Sad.
Meanwhile he is having Dinner with a Genocidal leader of Israel. When he wrote "Give them Hell Bibi" regarding obliterating Gaza, it was the end of this "Righteous Intellectual" for me.

What if Netanyahu is playing a similar game to Trump against his own deep state, and has to say things that don’t exactly sound delightful to our ears in order to stay in his position?
It’s perfectly understandable that there could be a great deal of animosity against several things he’s said, but there are many ways this game could be going down in reality, and it’s seemed like his deep state has tried to take him out several times as well.
No organization is a monolith. There was a statement in the direction of “each other player is going to have to figure out how to play this game for their own land” at one point.
Trust that if Bibi is not on the side of righteousness, God Himself will deal with him. The fact that he hasn’t yet tells me that this is necessary, but we will find out.
I believe they’ve all been caught, and this whole thing is just the reality of it playing out for us in a way we can all understand and remember.

If more Canadians would start a conversation with apologizing for being Canadian, I'd be a lot more likely to listen to what they have to say.
