Well I've considered different idea's on the phones possibilities my conclusion if it was me I'd smart enough to ditch the phone asap fearing it's tracking me. The Illegals are well informed.
I think ditching smartphones would be smart too. Unfortunately, we are all being tracked and spied upon the same way.
Part of me is wondering if they were all handed smart phones and debit cards so that every single route, safehouse, and trafficking operation could be understood better.
I would imagine the traffickers confiscated their debit cards to use themselves. Where one spends money is a great way to track operations, in addition to GPS from phones. It also shows the criminal network involved and creates a paper trail that can be used in a court of law.
There is probably more to it than I originally thought. My first thought was why do they get all this free shit if they are illegal! But now I think it is part of the sting operation. We need to remove the illegals, but we also need to destroy their criminal trafficking networks.
