I no longer use it. I resent Google, but still use it for email and search. I prefer the Brave browser but I'm not comfortable with the AI search feature.
From yandex browser: Candle wax and paraffin wax are both popular materials used to make candles, but they have some key differences. Candle wax is a natural wax made from plant-based oils, while paraffin wax is a petroleum-based wax. Candle wax is more expensive than paraffin wax, but it is also more sustainable and has a longer burn time.
From there you melt them down, add colorants (optional & natural or synthetic) and fragrance - again either natural like essential oils or chemical perfume etc.
So ...if you were searching for soy wax, within the context of say, "waxing a soy boy", you may need some quotes and possibly search operators to get the results you seek .... Like, sheit... I'll wax that fool's ass, if he talks about my mama again
...but even so, you still might get pointed to sites that show soy boys getting a Brazilian wax - which may or may not be what you're really looking for... but then again, maybe you are...who am I to judge?
Anyway grab the turkey baster from my bedroom on your way back to the kitchen...
This should be you test that makes you say "ah-ha! i need to use a new engine!"
Eventually you will have a good number of search engines, and won't ever question when it fails, because when it does you'll be trained to use another one instantly.
Most candle makers today tend to use soy waxes, bees wax or a combination of the two. Paraffin is much harder and has a higher melting point and some novice candle makers will keep the heat too high which can result in fires and in some cases explosions when they go to add fragrances or oils. Hope this helps. As for duck duck: they've had questionable results for a while now. Have been using freespoke with a little better luck (little). 👍
Duck duck is no good, these days.

Yandex!
You can still get google results if you use gibiru or startpage. And they don't spy or track.
Uh, what is soy way?
No effing idea. Soy boy wax?
soy wax is pretty popular for candles. that said, i couldn't recreate your problem in the DDG app. seems to work fine.
Technically, napalm could be construed as soy boy wax.
Doesnt sound too bad put that way.
Particularly when antifa use it as a cologne and catch fire .
Probably a typo for "soy wax":

The Brits have a lot of paraffin wax in their heating oil. If it gets too cold, the wax solidifies and no heat. Didn’t bury the pipes deep enough.
Poor Brits. ☹️
Soy wax is pretty popular for candle making.
There's basically three main choices:
Petroleum derived paraffin wax
Bees wax
Soy wax

And vegetable shortening
don't get loyal to a search engine.

I was using a plumbers candle and trying to recall if paraffin was softer or harder...
in the case of the plumbers candle, same difference since they're made of paraffin - so that they burn slow. 👍
If you have drawers that stick, rub some paraffin wax on the runners.
Haven't used DDG since the CEO promised to crack down on cOViD MisiNfoRMaTioN way back when, best litmus test there ever was.
I gave up on DDG years ago. It went woke.
Yeah knew that but had limited options on some devices. Just went to brave mobile
I think they mean, soy whey, derivative from soy milk producttion
That's your first problem is using duck duck go. That's a compromised search engine. Please delete and get another.
Freespoke is good, Yandex does piss me off with their never ending capcha's
