Do you see the graphic key with the "normal, below normal, super below normal" thing? This is not "winter" as you sarcastically stated, it looks to be unusually cold and in many places which don't often see such temperatures
Umm, so the 10 day forecast for my area shows the low is 36, gulf coast of Texas region. That’s pretty normal. I appreciate the heads up but this looks like fear porn from the left leaning msm. Maybe others are going to have it worse?
hell maybe it's wrong, idk, but I remember the last time this shit happened a bunch of people in Texas had their gas lines freeze and died and a bunch of other shit, so I'm posting it. dgaf
I do appreciate the heads up. I will say that I scrutinize the weather because I have critters that need heat lamps if it gets really cold. I have noticed that the msm weather seems to get it wrong quite often and sometimes it seems like it’s on purpose. For example, they’ll say the low is going to be 45 overnight, but it winds up being 38, big difference and I would have turned on heat lamps and started a fire in the fireplace. We listen to Ryan hall and he seems to get it right more than msm.
Below normal is below normal. But it is part of winter. In my lifetime, we've been down below -30 in Central Indiana. I've been watching the models and there is no doubt it will get cold, plus chances of snow are going up. But our record low temperatures for the month of January are quite safe.
For those of us in northern States this isnt even cold, its pretty normal for January. Im in Michigan and seeing lows around 8 and highs just under 20. Michiganders wear shorts outside still when its 20. Im not kidding.
Start talking highs in the low single digits and lows down below -10, then its cold.
Cant fall for the way they have changed the language regarding weather. naming winter storms, real feel temps, using darker red or darker blue colors, are just another piece of the climate scam.
Unusual occurrences in my region of East Texas I've never witnessed before: moths mating Dec 26th, red hornets still buzzing around, geckos and lizards still being seen and not hibernating like reptiles should, apple tree budding with flowers, green leaves still on mulberry trees, Jalapeño plant producing large amounts of peppers when plant should be dead this time of year, having to cut the grass up to this date, amongst many other abnormalities. What have you anons witnessed in your regions that is abnormal?
I have found for the last several years in the St. Louis region winter kicks in later, after Christmas. And then it seems to hang around longer through March.
Same conditions in my neck of the woods. Just mowed the lawn today. Lizards in abundance, rose bushes are blooming, still finding the odd mosquito. The grass here is supposed to be brown now, with no bugs or critters to be seen.
Louisiana is gonna get actually cold?!?!?!?!!? Maybe it'll stay below freezing for 3 full days and kill some of these damn fleas, ticks and mosquitoes 😁😁 YAY
Interesting that they say warmer temps are causing colder temps. Maybe it’s colder temps causing warmer temps. That won’t work because it doesn’t fit the man made issues.
Yeah it's called winter. Pretty normal for the Midwest. Anyone who wasn't prepared yet for winter is either a democrat or recently moved from a winterless climate.
You mean winter?

I came across this story from this channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsn18SUOWac
I just posted the MSM to get right to the point. Maybe next time I'll just go with the citizen journalist

Exactly. Big whoop.
Winter.
Stop spreading their fear porn for them, please.
Each winter we get 2 or 3 very cold snaps. There wasno need for the hype within the article.

It's green even in the winter in southern Louisiana. Our camelias are blooming, next door neighbors azaleas are blooming.

🤷♂️
Thank you.
Always good to be prepared. Bought some supplies today.

Good, you need a good cold to make sure the bugs die and the fruit trees need it too.

This isn't the pilar vortex from several years ago. This is just normal cold winter weather
Happy New Year fren. I hope this pilar vortex isn't as pilar as they are saying. Kek
