It doesn’t matter how much we dislike someone, if the rules are to salute someone in a certain position/rank then that’s what we’ll do. Legally, "I was just obeying orders" is not an excuse for breaking the law. Ultimately, truth is more powerful than guns. When we can acknowledge this and live by it, it will save our planet. "Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free." I am hoping that the new administration will expose all the covered up crimes of our infiltrated government.

2016 was the first presidential inauguration that I had ever watched live. I did have a moment of panic when those soldiers appeared. I recognised them as US Marines and thought they were about to drag Trump away in chains!
However, Trump seemed unfazed and they all turned round and left shortly afterwards. It was obviously some kind of message but I did not know exactly what it was.
I need to clarify: this was an ill-considered throwaway comment because I thought it would be great if the "commander of Gitmo" were there at the event, and because I'd not remembered as I wrote the comment that Space Force didn't even exist then.
