Actually u can shop with gift cards without membership , I know because I refuse to buy membership so I buy 100 dollar cards as once in a while they do have a great deal !
I thought of that after I wrote . My care providers ( for my daughter ) have memberships and so does my son and youngest daughter , so I have them buy them for me . Cosco doesn’t charge delivery, so sometimes I’ll order on line using the G C ‘s My house was built on a park so hundreds of people with dogs walk by every week . I have a little barn type house on front lawn with a container full of dog treats and water . I go through lots of treats so Costco is unbeatable as far as price.

We have both Sam's (2 miles) and Costco (18 miles) locally, we have both cards. We buy about 90% of what we need from Sam's Club, and rarely go to Costco. Sometimes, just a change in scenery is nice .... jury is out as to whether we renew.
