Prayers for the guardians of the border. Combat pay is in order.
Nice, now the cartels have put themselves in the same enemy category as the ISIS members just bombed out of existence in Yemen. This taxpayer approves of such use of our military.
They have been lazy and stupid, with their infrastructure, most of its in the middle of nowhere. We can bomb them into the stone age, with very little collateral damage.
Let's do that, please.
Somalia
Right you are, my mistake.
Ya, that's not going to end well for the cartels. If the cartels, now designated as terrorists, don't think that Trump is having them tracked and targeted, they are in for a rude awakening.
Remember what Trump said about the drones...."we know where they took off from and we know where they fly and where they land". Also 'who owns them'. Let's Go!
Do they realize we will go into Mexico and hunt them down? They're a terrorist organization and international borders don't matter.
All those cartel mansions on mountain tops.

Exactly. What arrogance to think shooting at us wouldnβt cause a response. I guess they got away with so much for so long that they feel invincible. FAFO I guess.
We haven't even TRIED to get rid of them, yet. Well, FAFO!!
Ask ISIS how this will end.
Pulp donβt lie
Authorized?
I mean, I don't think it was ever unauthorized.
THE MANY WAYS TO KILL A DRONE
We can break counter-UAV technology into four broad categories:
The unfortunate truth: There are rather a lot of options in Categories 1 to 3; and virtually none that have been proven effective in Category 4. That means if countering drones is your mission, youβll need a good deal of money β and perhaps even more, patience β to diversify and work through numerous systems and gadgets and digital tools that can do the job you want given risks associated with your urban or rural environment.
Making the task more difficult: if you bought and deployed all the emerging counter-drone technology available today inside Americaβs borders, youβd be breaking up to two dozen U.S. laws, dealing with everything from privacy to communications channels to aircraft interdiction. Meanwhile, there are thousands of places across the U.S. that lobbyists and a few legislators are increasingly working to protect from nefarious drones and their operators: playgrounds, stadiums and other outdoor sports events, parades, prisons and military bases.
On the military side, traditional U.S. defense contractors are repackaging existing tech to deal withtodayβs drone threat. One of the more headline-grabbing methods is to fire multi-million-dollar Raytheon-made Patriot missiles at small UAVs, as the Israeli military has done on more than one occasion near the Golan Heights. And more than a year ago, the U.S. Navy shot down a drone with a laser over the Persian Gulf. Raytheon is pitching its C-RAM air defense systemas a UAV countermeasure, while Northrop Grumman is altering its G/ATOR air defense system to monitor UAVs, as is Lockheed Martin and its AN/TPQ-53 radar. But these are not systems youβd find deployed in urban settings back in the States.
The good news: βThere are a lot of waysβ of bringing down a drone that donβt involve military-grade equipment, said Duncan Woodbury, a former researcher and remote systems contractor who learned how to alter a consumer droneβs GPS system to allow it to fly anywhere β including into the White House.
ββWe have not yet seen the killer innovation in counter-UAS thatβs gonna put an end to the issue.ββ

Wouldn't it be rather satisfying to turn the cartels drones against them. LOL
"Or program them to go off right when they take off for deployment..."
He he he...
ISIS hold my beer.
Unable to read this because I could not prove I'm not a 'bot.

After looking at a lot of these different robots I think they can be overcome with nets. Might be a good thing to have on hand. π€
Just like I think aliens can't undo a tight knot. Their fingers are too long. π½
Just need a larger version of this.

That's cool! βοΈ
Suddenly I feel an urge to purchase a sheissload of kevlar twine, helium and mylar smiley-face balloons. :-D
THAT'S A GREAT IDEA!!! πΊ
Then it's a good thing we have drone jammers we can deploy to our borders.
