I've noticed that Reddit has been slightly less astroturfed since USAID lost funding. I'm still convinced at least 70% of Reddit is just bots and paid shills, but I'm seeing a lot more "wrong-think" comments slipping through the cracks that usually would've been immediately blocked and deleted.
I’m even seeing it in r/NYC so that is really saying something. Pro-illegal immigrant comments get downvoted a lot more than pro-deportation comments. I’m glad I’m not the only one noticing!
So did I. I posted a comment that would have gotten downvoted to oblivion by leftists/bots/shills. Guess what, it had an upvote count of 384 last time I checked. I'm also noticing pro Trump comments getting more upvotes than usual.
I always laugh when someone on superstonk says something just slightly non-leftist outside of pure stock analysis, and everyone has to remind about incoming tendies for 80% of the rest of the thread.
And that’s in a relatively based sub. Friggin metastasis on that site.
News like this brings joy to my heart. I was perma banned from there for saying there are only two genders. Every once in awhile I go back and appeal the banning, but in the comment section where they want me to grovel, I put, "There's still only 2 genders". I don't know if human eyes ever read that, but I imagine there's someone on the other end getting triggered.
bye bye, no one wants to pay for streaming services any more what makes them think people will wanna pay to access to a subreddit. only benefit maybe r/ * insert lefty talking point * will be paid and might not show up on the main feed for everyone, lets hope the people running them are as money hungry as the scum we are getting rid of in the government.
You have to have an urge to be beaten to be there. I joined and made an innocent comment about a couple who were mistreating their older parents. The group thought the parents should be avoided and written off if they did not agree with the crazy child-rearing ideas of the parents. I just advocated taking it easy and going slow.
I got so much bad karma that I was never able to post again. Go figure.
That is a crazy bunch. I left.
This makes sense. We saw how much money twatter was getting when Elon bought it (way overpriced) and somehow he kept it afloat. Future is looking bright.
Reddit's already fading relevance takes a nosedive.
True.
Virtual walled gardens never work out well.
A valid point in the Reddit comment section on a post about Reddit going paywall.

Me too. I am seeing a lot of wrong-think posted in /r/seattlewa and even in the more liberal /r/seattle.

Me too. Its still bad. But i see fellow pede out in the trenches now
Bye Reddit. 👋👋👋
Bye bots. 99 percent of posters on reddit are bots programmed to be lgbtqbltbbq and hate Trump.
Yep. They all talk the same way too. It's obvious.

Aww shucks, Reddit is going to die? I suspect we will see more of this as the money dries up. The left really is a potemkin village. lol

RIP reddit. Good riddance

Preddit is full of neckbeard basement dwellers. But the majority of comments are made by AI bots and shills
Deddit.
Each bot on Reddit will have a coin slot added. Just put a quarter in and push.
Probably why alot of the mods have ended up here.
Good. Nuke that gay psy-op site from orbit.
Great way to hide from LibsOfTikTok type accounts 😂

Bye, bye!
What is a good alternative "message board" that has as many topics and sub-forums as Reddit? Asking for a friend.
