We have to be very careful with ideas like this... it may sound good (or interesting) at first blush, but you ALWAYS have to consider how such a law could be abused in the future. And people always find a way to abuse laws, if the Obama and Biden years have taught us anything. The Founders put due process for American citizens into our Constitution for a reason. Criminal illegal immigrants don't have that protection, but American citizens do.
There could come a time in the not-too-distant future where a dedicated Socialist president in the Democrat Party could use such laws and turn them against the good people here. You always have to consider unintended consequences.
Yeah, I sorta thought that too, especially since it was in the HuffPo... but it still managed to tweak my early warning system when it comes to the Constitution and legal precedence. So I wonder when we'll start seeing protest signs from the "hands off" crowd saying "DON'T DEPORT ME, BRO"?
I'm not concerned about this; because this law makes that situation impossible.
Respectfully I think you're not seeing the big picture here- this is going to fundamnetally change America forever by deporting a large portion of its citizens.
Any future communist president candidate can simply have their citizenship revoked and be deported under these laws. Any of their potential voters (citizens or not) are also going to be deported. There is simply no way this could ever happen.
I'd go so far as to say that this is by far the best way of guaranteeing our rule forever.
And I'm not going to cry much about some deported/dead liberals "rights".
What pops into my mind are two enemy combatants who lost their citizenship at the end of the Civil War. Granted, they were the highest level Confederates, Jefferson Davis and Robert E. Lee, but the precedent is there.
This makes me wonder if POTUS is trolling DS operators who could be classified as enemy combatants? And, it brings me back to Q bringing attention to Lindsey Graham’s line of questions to Judge Kavanaugh regarding Enemy Combatants.
If you go back to Sen Graham's question to Kavanaugh during his appointment hearing about enemy combatants and the answer he gave, that would be the only possible remedy that might be an exception to the constitution. He explained that civilian American citizens who committed traitorous acts during a time of war could be tried at military tribunals. I know that's a stretch and a far cry from deporting people, but perhaps there is room in that interpretation that would effectively work as a deportation after being convicted at a military tribunal. Just spit balling here.
They will take the seized assets to give ownership to the American people. Say a person convicted of treason owns 1% of Blackrock after conviction, the American people own that 1% and use it to fund things the government needs to do, like fix SS. Or other things like the new free American University.

You do realize this is meant to drive the left nuts and chew up their news cycle, right?

They said that about the tariffs, the end of government, J6 pardons, and the other deportations, but here we are- no, Trump Tells No Lies
Get ready to deport your neighbours
Guess we better not let them ever have power again. If you espoused communism and actively try to make America engage in it. U should get deported.
Playing with fire here but it will be necessary to save western civilization

I Trust Trump. You should too. This is His idea.
We have become so removed from our national identity though that it might be necessary.

My point of view is simple- who can stop us?
Navel-gazing about whether it is "legal" is yesterday's way of thinking
Green goo all over the place when the libtard head’s explode over this one
Hopefully literally.. they're going to be deported too!
Some keep promising to self-deport . . .
For the violent criminals, just enforce the law which blue states are not, letting perps back on the streets.
This might be something alittle deeper then just deporting certain Americans to somewhere else.
Arrest them, try them, lock them up (somewhere)
As long as it's outside America, I don't really care. El Salvador is a good option, so is Greenland
Let's Go - After ALL The Illegals Are Gone! (OR at least a majority of them!)
Hahah yeah, and most (if not all) the legals.
But why wait? We can start deporting the libs right now. Or at least take their citizenship
Strip 'em and ship 'em
Take everything they own and redistribute it!
Send to the deportation camps!
:-D this is one of the best days of my life!

I'd say 100% of Black Rock's shareholders are treasonous, so yeah, we'll own that outright
I wonder if this is how we'll fund NesaraGesara
