A few of them. It was the first time I watched a man executed on live TV. They was on the way to turn themselves into the sheriff's. The government could not let that happen, so they sent a strong message that day.
I hadn't either. Did a search and read a few blurbs, haven't delved deep.
Per dickipedia:
Robert LaVoy Finicum (January 27, 1961 – January 26, 2016) was one of the American militants who staged an armed occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge headquarters....
I guess he was killed in some sort of traffic stop CBS news:
FBI agent indicted on five felony charges that he lied about shooting at Robert "LaVoy" Finicum just before man was killed by Oregon police ...
BBC:
LaVoy Finicum, a man who seemed to stand apart from the rest. He was articulate, for a start, and clearly trusted by the militia leader, Ammon Bundy.
I saw it live. The agent made a piss poor dive for the path of the vehicle. They wanted clear reason to kill them all. They didn't expect him to drive completely off the road to miss the agent. Didn't matter they still had to follow script. Bundy knew it and got himself away from the vehicle to take all the bullets. What they say, was him reaching for a gun, is clearly him being shot. They didn't expect that move either, oh well follow script and try and kill the family.
LaVoy wasn't one of the "militants" who was occupying the Park. He was a mediator walking messages back and forth between the Bundy group (MSM says militants but they were protesting) and officials.
LaVoy was going to a Town Hall with the County Sheriff to plead the case that the Feds were overstepping their authority (which they were). The idea was the Sheriff with the support of the town was going to show up and kick the Feds out of his county.
He was ambushed on a blind corner in the snow. Agent tried to jump in front of him but you could clearly see him swerve to avoid this jackass. They were firing into the truck where he had 2 teenagers and another person with him.
He came out with his hands just effectively saying "just shoot me then" and drew their fire away from the truck.
Feds claimed he was brandishing a firearm, which he never drew.
Pretty sure in court the Bundy group was cleared of all charges. They have a right to be armed on Park land. A law regarding carrying firearms while protesting were put in place AFTER this happened.
In the moment they had every right to protest armed in the Park. It was only made illegal after the fact.
Government overreach like this is what really made me a hard line 2nd amendment constitutionalist years ago. Back then I didn't think much about Republican or democrat, all I wanted to know was where you stood on the US Consititution and individual liberty.
The government really hates it when they have no reason to fuck with you when they really want to fuck with you.
And the kind of power some people can wield in government attracts the kind of people to that role who NEED to excercise that power regularly to feel good about themselves.
I remember when Ron Paul ran for President after 2008 on his "Audit the Fed" platform. That was where I started learning about the nuances of voluntary anarchism and libertarianism within the constituion's framework as the opposite of socialism.
In one system compliance is voluntary and the other it's enforced by violence.
It becomes obvious a system is only setup for the ILLUSION of choice, when excercising the choice not to participate, triggers that system to destroy you.
This man stood up for his friends and with his friends when the going got rough. Real rough. The Feds were trying to steal his friend Bundy's ranch for years. The Chinese were wanting his land and enlisted Harry Reid the senate majority leader. He formed a company called Bunker Reid to facilitate the sale even though the Bundy's were not selling. So Reid brought the force of the government down on the Bundy's. Lavoy Finicum stood by and with the Bundy's through it all. He was the kind of friend and patriot that we would all be better off for knowing then and honoring now.
What happened in Malheur County was that all of the patriot crisis was used (if not forced via BLM shenanigans against the ranchers) as a dramatic distraction from the fact that the FBI was protecting the extraction and thievery of the Uranium (and gold) from the ground and mountains, back there for the account of Killary who orchestrated the steal using FBI as her goons to secure the shitness for the Russian acquisition. The County Judge was bullshitting the people during town hall meetings and was dividing the public opinion on the ranchers who were already in the crosshairs. He and the (un) constitutional sheriffs were local Freemasons and played their part in the theatrics. The people living there were afraid of what was stirring as FBI were doing weird antics across town (suspiscious af) I watched most of what was filmed by radio host Pete Santilli's team (he ended up in jail in a shocking turn of events) and other patriots who were there to document the events ... All of this often felt surreal. The killing of Lavoy was hearbreaking. It's like I was there. Anyway....
I don't believe in evolution, but I do believe in natural selection.
After all is said and done, those who naturally do not trust government and naturally do not trust doctors are going to come out on top as the leftists earn themselves darwin awards.
This is the first time I've heard the name of Robert LaVoy. I guess the media has been doing it's job to bury anything important
Patriot. Killed by FBI in Oregon!
Killed sniper style . The shooter was posted up in the woods.

Heard of Bundy, but not so much, this guy.
There were kids (teens) in the car they filled with holes but they didn’t die.
Wouldn't doubt it. The official narrative:

I saw it happen as well.

That had to be horrifying!
It was a set-up, for sure.
Most likely!
Shame it's all the wrong people! :(
Go to 1:14:27 sec. and you can get the story. This whole documentary is super. https://youtu.be/H6GAoqvK5s0?feature=shared
Thank you for the link.
When I was using my finger to fast forward to the part you marked, it was noted by the time stamp as 'most replayed'.
Chilling footage indeed!
You're welcome.
That's exactly what BBC was hoping your lilly white ass would catch on to...
Cue the super white skinned teen on the couch surrounded by BBC
I see what you did there, very punny! BBC🍆🤣🤣🤣🤣
Same!
No organization should be allowed to investigate itself, so it cannot be relegated to the FBI
Who's that guy?
Bundy is the guy that successfully stood his ground in Southern Nevada when the feds tries to enforce taking his land.
Yes. Harry Reed wanted the land; it ha big mineral reserves.
Didn't we later learn that land was full of uranium and was supposed to be part of the Uranium One deal with Hillary?
Oregon..... https://www.worldtribune.com/the-clintons-uranium-and-the-oregon-shootout-report-addresses-unasked-questions/
I meant that Finicum guy in the pic.
He was hoping it would stop the agents from following through with the script. Didn't work theh still tried to kill the family.
This absolutely needs to happen!
YES!
Murderers.
He was gunned down by Feds!
