My son has gone off the rails. Alcohol, i suspect drugs, he's left his wife and pets. 15 years together since they were 15 and 16. Her mom died at 9 and she's my daughter now. He was pretty normal til 4 months ago. Cheated and all kinds of crap. I'm no nonsense and my daughter in law is like my own. Please pray for her. She's a beautiful angel and neither her or their animals deserve this betrayal. Please pray for Bea's heart and that she gets the love she deserves. I'm just broken. I know the power of our prayers. I can't stop hurting. They were the happiest couple. Never fought. He just flipped. Started working out of town a lot and boom. She is broken. This hurts so bad.
Lifting them up in prayer. There is no such thing as a marriage so broken that even God cannot mend it. I pray for your son's chains of addiction to be broken and his complete healing and repentant heart. Hmmm he does not need Prays, he needs to hit bottom and then man up start over and build himself up. The Prays should go to his family and pets. I have Zero tolerance for men and women in the 21 century being alcoholic and a drug addicted. My experience is that that persons always had the tendency to be a drag on society. There is no way you as a mom didn’t know nor his wife. Best to leave the piece of shit left at his own demise. ***His own demise" means the death or downfall of a person, where that person's actions or circumstances have led to their ruin. It suggests that someone is bringing their own end upon themselves.

Most people don’t have a clue about addiction. You’re wasting your time with them. An example my sister druggie, alcoholic most of her life she decided to turn around at 42 years old, so she started at 20, no one in the family had 22 years to give her.
Well, as a sober addict of 15 years, I beg to differ. Alanon is fantastic for the families. It's a family disease. Tough love works. Coddling and enabling kills. I'm sorry for your sister, but your lack of empathy is kinda disturbing and takes away from familial bonds. Maybe that's part of the problem, dysfunctional? Most families are.
