I've always just had a distrust in Bluetooth and why it is being pushed so much. I hate that most phones do not have an earphone jack anymore. Maybe it is time to return to an old fashioned mp3 player.
They make wired headphones with different connectors or you can use a converter/dongle. My husband laughs at me for refusing bluetooth headphones, but I know wired is safer. I recall watching another demo a few years back that also tried to demonstrate the effect of having both ears in at once. That terrified me. I have a pair with usbc connector and before that I relied on a dongle to covert regular headphone to lightning port for my phone.
We switched to wired headphones a few months ago. It took some searching for the right connectors for one of our sets, but it works. Sometimes itโs hard to remember you are still attached. ๐คจ
Daughter was all about EMF and its impact on her and my grand-babies. Yet, her face when I asked her what is she doing about driving them around in a Prius. Literally in car seats with a battery emitting EMF. Showed her some crystals that absorb online
I look at it this way, if the EMF from these was as harmful as scaremongers claim given how effectively everyone in the western world has used them for decades now then we should all know someone first hand who is afflicted with brain cancer and what not that they claim they cause. Also then why do we still see various "elites" using them if they're supposed to know that they're meant to poison everyone?
Cancer is not the only outcome from cellular damage. More common symptoms are headache and brain fog. Cancer is just the worst case scenario that has increased likelihood based on usage and proximity.
It's not only headphones, what about those VR headsets where you clamp your phone into the headset to watch VR movies, that is microwave activity right next to your eyeballs.
got a car with a wireless key a year ago. started carrying it in my front pocket and my cell phone (with bluetooth, location, and wifi turned OFF) in my back pocket. that hip started to ache without me hurting it. started leaving the key in my lunchbox and the phone on the shelf with my water. whaddaya know? pain went away and never came back.
I heard no mention of Apple specifically in the video. Are they worse than other brands of earbuds? I don't use Apple products at all, but not for this reason.
I wonder if hearing aids are dangerous too. They are Bluetooth and I can use them to hear my conversations without holding the phone to my ear or be on speaker. Anyone have an knowledge on hearing aids?
Well duh, even these tiny speakers operate via small electro-magnets and guitar pickups work by...picking up magnetic fields. Put some wired headphones or earbuds next to that guitar and see what happens.
Does that work with non-microphonic pickups? I'll have to try that sometime. It didn't seem related to the content of the signal. It sounded like random digital noise.
Yet... Just looked it up. I get why it doesn't have it currently - battery drain. This new one is supposed to use MediaTek modems instead of Intel. MediaTek supposedly have lower power 5g to save battery.
Switched my son to wired 2 years ago and his headaches improved. Just had a feeling thanks for sharing hard info. Great post
Have a look at this please, to the end: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z99_SzoXZdY&list=PLkea2LffFGPZjXeBZrGZiYdX1fPT9kV35

The underlying technology should be the same across all brands

Quite a dilemma for people who have hearing loss.
My friend put them next to his guitar pickups and the noise through his amplifier sounded awful.

No
What if WiFi is turned off? I heard that is better.
Is it a 5G watch - connected to skin on their body?
Not on cellular data
