Someone from Brownsville Texas told me that in the 60’s they had one small high school and everything was clean and orderly but that’s when they started letting in everyone and giving out welfare. Now the Brownsville school district is larger than their population. The school system is the largest “industry” around and things are set up to give fake addresses to get the kids in school. Once a month huge groups cross from Mexico on foot to spend their snap at the grocery store on the border. The kids are citizens because “Mom” snuck across at 9 months and had her anchor baby. It’s Mexicos little welfare system.

Down in Deming NM they send around 17 school busses a day,to pick up kids on the border. And it's a very small town.

I worked in an office next to his. He was a character. A very old and beloved fellow by both sides of the aisle. Every square inch of his 15 foot walls from the reception area to his office and the staff bay was covered, like wallpaper, with framed pictures of him with a person of note.
He was a Florida senator and lost his election to a republican who spread the rumor that his sister was a "thespian". So he ran for the house and stayed for decades.
And then there was Gary Hart who ran for president and ended up in a scandal and a blue jeans brand named after it (no excuses jeans, I think)

I have heard of this. When LBJ signed it into law, my 4th grade teacher talked about it with us. In the years after that, the schools had programs that tried to convince us to befriend people from different cultures. By high school I had a friend from Jordan who was on the chess team with me, and 9 of the 11 starters on our soccer team were foreign born.
LBJ might have been the worst president we ever had. Worse than Obama. He’s neck and neck with Wilson.
Worst presidents in US history beginning with the worst. Obama, Clinton, FDR, LBJ, Wilson, Carter. I put Obama first because of the number of acts of treason and I don’t include Biden because he wasn’t really president. I consider it Obama’s illegal 3rd term where more treason occurred.
I tend to suspect that Obama was bait in his first term, and was fully flipped in his second, and Carter was just Biden’s first term - WH prepping for Reagan.

That leaves FDR. I’ve always hated him, but with the nature of WH/BH ops and optics, these days there’s more gray room with him. If Obama’s second term was accelerationism, a lot of the worst stuff he seems to have done is off the table.
No right or wrong here, but that’s why Obama’s behind WW and LBJ on my list. Clinton comes in 4th or 5th for me, depending where FDR actually should be. FDR, if actually bad (and it’s still hard to write that), was just implementing the groundwork laid by WW, and not really breaking new milestones. Hillary blows them all out of the water, of course, but she was never president, kek (so sad!).
