Correct, 60% of what was going on can never be reviled or society would totally collapse. The 40% will be hard enough for most to digest, and even then some won't make it.

Sadly, most human beings don't WANT to understand the level of evil we are dealing with.
In a thread over the weekend, a fellow pede made a statement that really stuck with me. I'm paraphrasing a bit but hopefully not too much: "It is a moral failing to not accept reality for what it is".
A lot of wisdom and eloquence in that statement. So many secrets are kept out in the open because of the moral failings of so many in this country.
We can never allow ourselves to become a member of that club, no matter what the subject. We must be truth seekers.
Tried to tell my sister some dark truths, and she told me she didn’t want to know. Couldn’t deal with it. It’s cowardice to turn from the hard truth. I would like to be a coward, but we have to have the strength to be witnesses for the innocent. It’s hard and it hurts my soul. I can only rest in Jesus and pray to God for justice.
I have a friend who is like this. It is disappointing. I want to shake him a bit and say ' Dude, you can't afford to be an ostrich..'
When I think about it, he does have a lot on his shoulders. His dad passed a couple of years ago and he is the patriarch now - not just in his immediate family, but his birth family and his wife's family (her parents are gone and her brother would like to be the man, but he is a flake). However, I try to hint that because of your responsibilities, you need to pay attention to what going on because you are going to be the person they turn to first. So far, haven't had much luck.
I can sympathize. Luckily I have another sister that woke me up fully so we have some interesting discussions, but it’s just we two. She is very well read and went down all the rabbit holes, so she keeps me updated. When things get more interesting, you’ll be able to help your friend understand. That’s what we do. Educate.
I think you hit the nail on the head of all we can do, IM: Pray. Pray that they'll have the courage to see reality for what it is. Because at some point after all the patient discussions, that's the only option we have left for some people.

The "powers of the air" that Paul writes about refers to these spiritual beings that confuse and destroy men out of hatred. Moloch is a name given to one or multiple of these creatures. Worshipped in the ancient near-east, he was the burning idol that parents would sacrifice their infants on.
This is the context Abraham was in when God asked him to sacrifice Isaac. Being in that world, Abraham was familiar with the concept of child sacrifice, but knew that God would provide a way for his promise regarding Isaac to persist. And what do you know, God stopped him before the act, merely testing his chosen man.

If you’ve been through the divorce grinder, you have an excellent understanding.
Studying how tyrannies work by getting people from the bottom up to implement the tyranny is a good way as well. Essentially making people do evil thing and participate of be punished severely.
The owl roams around at night and pierces the darkness with his eyes in order to devour vermin and keep pests away ....
Transposing this into human society: there are indeed those who roam around in darkness, to find the vermin that are a pest to decent society. Hence, those who know, can't sleep.
That these vermin use the owl as their mascot is quite amazing, as the owl will come and digest them into a hairy ball of bones.
And this is the nature of these vermin. They turn everything upside down, so that the natural becomes the despised, and that what is unnatural and despised becomes the avenue to honor and acclaim.
I believe that it is because the source of the evil is not human. We need to learn to protect our boundaries beyond just national borders.
A lot of people will recoil from the idea in disbelief, I usually counter their disbelief by saying it doesn’t matter whether we believe this evil exists, it’s adherents and followers DO and they act accordingly…
Agreed, there seems to be an evil on earth that goes beyond what is human. It comes from...where? Maybe another dimension? Look at Netanyahu and the Zionists. He is pure evil. Psychopathy to the nth degree. Literally insane with it. He is possessed. Maybe he thinks he's moloch. Maybe he is.
But there are plenty of others, too.
