wait.... So Gold is being tariffed 39%!!! kek!!! Brilliant! So every dollar of gold from CH now costs $1.39, kek! That's as good as an embargo without saying it's an embargo. That's like saying we don't want your gold without actually saying it. I take it we are no officially taking down the 3rd leg of the triangle. Is that how you see it?
This was a surprise. The banks have a massive short position in silver. If anyone is interested,I recommend buying physical silver or stocks in good mining companies. If you can't do that PSLV is considered much better than SLV.
LoL already did. I can't move that far because I have kids.
I so wanted to be a door kicker just piss my ex wife off. She is a die hard lib and while I haven't heard her say anything about ICE I'm positive I know how she feels. She never awakened and still thinks she know everything about the world because she watches TV.
I was gonna get a pic of me in all my ICE gear and have my son hang it up in his room at her place.
Mining companies dont actualy store silver, you have to check their production numbers and such. I don't recommend DRS for these as I want to sell them quick when silver go's up and keep my actual silver long term, but their is nothing wrong with DRS them.
PSLV does own actual silver, and is considered much better than slv. These companies are not mines. They are ETF'S FOR silver.
You can goto r/wallstreetsilver and read up on this.
Will do, thanks! Can you believe Cruddit allows two valuable subs to stay on the site? It’s gotta be either WH control or a honeypot. Former seems more likely but I’m highly regarded.
To be fair, that objective probably needs more money thrown at it to be successful, assuming it’s still legit.
Some whale just threw $55m at it, and while that seems like a lot, it’s half a percent of market cap. It IS almost a ninth of public float though, which is nice.
It’d normally take a thousand of us throwing 55k at it just to hit that number though. How many have done that? It’s a fairly significant lift.
Silver seems likely to be downstream from the meme stocks.
"The tariff, which took effect on Thursday (August 7, 2025), hits luxury and consumer goods hardest, with watches, skin care and cosmetics products, precision instruments and chocolate expected to face large price rises in the US."
Come on, frens. It only took me thirty seconds of internet searching on my smart phone to pull this paragraph out of an article. Do the authors of threads have to hand feed you every morsel? Maybe they are trying to keep your grey matter fit and working normally by putting challenges in front of you.
Yeah, but it doesn't explain why Belgian chocolate will be preferred over Swiss chocolate. They're just asking Cats to explain what he meant. They're calling him out for a low effort post.
Most GAW'ers know the gnomes of Zurich deserve a reckoning, but why they deserve it more than the City of London right now is an opinion that OP could've shared.
I don't know why.
Can you share with us “why” because I’m not sure either.
Oh good Lord, I didn't post the sauce! Duh, sorry 😐

Maybe you should take a week-long vacation.
KEK 🐸🐸🙀
I think you deserve a vacation anyway for keeping the peace at this site.
To Switzerland.
Enjoy the Swiss alps.

Trump is absolutely brilliant. Blows my mind the stuff he thinks of to do.
Oh my, now I understand. Trying to talk my husband into buying silver now.

HYMC has been shorted to shit for about 5 years now.
Is HYMC pulling metal out of the ground yet, or are they still just drilling test holes?
Yes they have a good company.
I also like PAAS and HL all these companies are way undervalued IMAO.
I'm almost all in on silver and GME. Need this to happen soon though. Out of work for a year.
Looks into working for ICE, they have done away with age limits and have office jobs available. A former Marine would probably have priority....

All the federal hiring is done through USA jobs. They have very good jobs available sometimes, and you would get a hiring preference....
What do you know about MP Materials and USAR mining companies? Tariffs might lead to these both performing exceptionally well.
Trump came out today and said no tarrifs on gold. And even the tarrif here in this announcment is on smaller retail bars, no the big bank bars.
These two specialize in rare earth
That's different then. I would bet they do very well.
How do you know if, and which, silver companies have actual backing for their shares?
I assume DRS is still recommended, yes?

Supperstonk crapped all over silver for years, but I'm doing much better with silver.....

One could lift the other.....
For sure!

Yes, spot on. My apologies. I don't know how I missed posting the sauce.

Aha: a Joe Lange writeup! That's always worth a click. Thanks.
Agreed!
Bankrupt the Federal Reserve and then put them out of our misery
