Nah. I am more likely to believe this was a false flag with a horrible sacrifice. I trust no one, no source, no social media trend. I can only pray that the real killer, and those who helped plan this, because it was a proffessional hit with an instant get away, will be captured. Who TF engraves amunition. Plus there's not much sticking out of the casing to engrave. You'd have to engrave the bullet and then roll your own ammo.

Could your average dip-shit tranny clamp down a cartridge and engrave something on a curved brass surface? More likely someone else did it and handed off the ammo. I'm guessing the gun too. This was a premeditated killing by more than one person.

Brass is the construction material for the cartridge. The bullets are almost certainly not brass.

Do you have ANY IDEA what it would take to ENGRAVE ANYTHING on a Round???
The brass cartridge: You'd need a VERY high resolution fiber laser. These are not accessible to most. State of the art at that scale. Plus means to rotate it.
The lead round: You'd need a mechanical means of engraving it - like a CNC milling machine with SUPER SMALL engraving bit or diamond drag...AND then deburr it all when done because lead smears over and creates a burr at the top edge of the engraving...
Not to mention a properly set up rotary axis...and the know how to do it. I'd say, less than 1% of ALL owners of equipment that could do this have the software, training AND aptitude/talent to pull it off.
