I just got attacked by some guy on the Nextdoor app for turning in one of these assholes working at a fire department celebrating Charlie’s death. He says they have the right to free speech. I told him I don’t look at it that way at all. To me, celebrating death is satanic and needs to be eliminated. Free speech doesn’t mean you can say anything without consequences. Just try yelling FIRE in a crowded theater and see how much trouble you get.
Sure they can say mean crap but now they are finding out there are real life consequences. If they want to be demons, do it in private. Yes, absolutely he & everyone has a right to free speech. Unquestionably. I'd say the right to freedom of speech is virtually, totally absolute. (Obviously there are exceptions for things like yelling "fire" in a crowded theater, etc. etc)

For me I have no choice but to give it all of it my anger my fear my frustration to Jesus. His response is always love. Love doesn’t mean weak. Jesus flipped tables and whipped some folks. Love can absolutely mean correction of what is abhorrent. Vengeance however- that is done in hate and that stains the soul of the person using vengeance. They don’t get to take the life of a good man and stain the souls of many many others. Justice is what we need. Justice heals often with correction and assurance it will never happen again by various means. It is the hardest path.

Here's what I think / have been saying for years; I believe we are up against literal demons from hell / actual satanic forces. That's the only way I can explain most of what's going on in the world.
I truly believe that the majority of those doing things like celebrating Kirk's death are DEMONS and should be taken out like garbage. I'm glad to see this term get used almost universally in describing the gleeful responses to Charlie's murder.
My question is: Do you think those things celebrating Kirk's murder actually ARE people with souls? Do they have souls / they are real people & have simply been demonically possessed? Or are they as I think & feel which is simply and fully demons from hell placed here on earth by satan.

Both things are true. Some people, I think, are literally inhabited by demons that ride them like a set of clothes. Others—arguably more frightening—are humans who want acceptance so badly they’ve convinced themselves the madness is real. Then there are those so broken and lost they can’t tell good from evil.
There is genuine truth in demonic influence, but sadly I believe we also influence ourselves and one another far more than any spirit does. Demonic forces, it seems, have rules they must obey; we, by contrast, are free to delude ourselves into anything.
Even here—in a place that speaks openly about these things—we don’t always grasp what that means. Without Christ, individuals are literally powerless against something ancient and powerful, no matter how much we like to pretend otherwise.
I once heard an exorcist in an interview say something that still haunts me: the dramatic reactions people expect only show up when the person is fighting the entity. Those who welcome an entity show no outward struggle—you wouldn’t know until the spirit steps forward. In some cases the possessed gain certain knowledge or even physical benefits in exchange for becoming a human horse. They lose control of their body, and some come to enjoy the horrors the spirit commits. It’s a dark reality of spiritual warfare few people talk about.
That’s why it’s vital to stay rooted in Christ as we fight—and let God do the heavy lifting against whatever spiritual forces are influencing the natural world. We can and should act in practical ways in the natural realm, but as believers we do far more good when we address the root: staying centered in Christ, anchored in who we are in him. No matter how clever the delusion, no matter how convincing the lie, our strength is found in that center.
I should add- here is the part that will be unpopular- The solution to me seems to be way more weighted in the revival is the solution. Demonic or not true rebirth through Christ changes the game. Changes the person changes the actions. Where it gets shady is fakers- you shall know them by their fruits. For me the spiritual battle IS the battle. Not all agree and that’s good we all have different talents and ways to apply them thus we see problems differently.

The main question I'm wrestling with; if it's not obvious, but I think you get it; is; are we "safe" to take out the trash, or must we actually perform hundreds of millions of exorcisms?
Like; what's the practical solution?
I fear that if we find that most or all of our enemy are in fact human, with a soul, that they are simply possessed; I fear that by the time we exorcise them all, bring them all to Christ, they will have overcome us.
There's also the other fact of; you can lead a horse to water, but you can absolutely not make them drink. They have to WANT to be saved.
As you rightly point out; the possessed (assuming again they are a possessed human & not just 100% demon); benefit / enjoy / gain something from the possession in many (most?) cases.
How do you work through that in a situation like ours where the enemy is starting to murder us? Time is not on our side. They've already kicked off the game....

This reminds me that the war we face is not new. The battle began when humankind chose to let evil usurp God’s role as our teacher (Genesis 3). From then on, evil existed alongside us. You cannot know both good and evil without evil having some place to stand. That is the root of the struggle.
But evil is not God’s equal. It has always been on a temporary lease. Its entrance into our world came through human doubt and denial — through choices, not design. Christ was the eviction notice: he replaced doubt with belief, denial with accountability (Romans 5:18–19). As the true heir, he left no wiggle room. Now evil is not a rightful tenant but a squatter.
The ancient lie is that God and evil are on the same scale. They are not. God has all power; evil only works by convincing us otherwise. Its aim is to fill the spaces where God’s presence has withdrawn with human souls to toy with until judgment (Revelation 12:12).
The greatest question for me has always been, why would anyone turn from God? He is so loving, so healing, so good that a moment in his presence resets everything (Psalm 16:11). I don’t fully know why, but I can imagine that separation would be agony, turning once-bright beings into creatures of infinite hate.
And here’s where the heart of it lies: even those who fall, even those you might despise, are still God’s children (John 1:12). Like a good parent, God protects but also lets us grow. A toddler isn’t allowed to play in the street, but an older child is taught how to cross. But what if a child is kidnapped into traffic? You don’t love them less — you fight to rescue them. Whether they were lured with candy or groomed to see their captor as good and you as evil, they are still yours. The rescue may take time, even reprogramming, but the love and the claim remain (Romans 8:38–39).
Now to the heart of your question — how do we protect ourselves?
I wish I had the absolute answer. The honest truth for me is: I can’t. I can’t protect anyone from demons. I can only call on the One who can. There are many ministries that deal with this, and there are helpful practices, but ritual alone( I don’t mean spiritual rituals I mean the definition of good spiritual habits discipline) isn’t the solution — presence is. I don’t mean that what we do in the natural is useless; it can help. I only mean it’s not the main thing. We can pray every morning ( ritual) but if those prayers are insincere we may not be getting much out of that. I do believe however that creating space for God to meet you absolutely must be of some good against the enemy.
I’m not an expert at all. I’m just a child of God trying to understand things far above my pay grade. I thought through these things to address the lies the enemy was using against my walk; your journey may require something different, and that’s OK. What matters is this: you are a child of God, and He will give you the answers and strength you need.
Here’s what I’ve learned and what seems to help: •Fear feeds the enemy. Demons thrive on fear and try to push us into fight-or-flight. Scripture repeatedly says, “Do not fear.” (See 1 John 4:18 — perfect love casts out fear.) •Presence matters. Time spent seeking God in prayer, worship, and Scripture creates a zone that darkness avoids. It fills you with peace and clarity so you can see true direction. •Practice helps, but presence protects. Simple spiritual disciplines—prayer, reading Psalms, singing worship, calling a believer to pray with you—reorient your heart and body to truth. •You don’t have to do this alone. Invite a sober, mature believer or your pastor to pray with you. If symptoms suggest medical or mental-health issues in someone you encounter (hallucinations, sudden personality change, suicidal thoughts), get professional help—often spiritual care and medical care work together.
You said we have little time. Respectfully, I don’t think that’s true. We have exactly the time God intends for the steps He’s asked us to take — not more, not less. Walk the next obedient step in front of you, and He will give the rest.
Wow that was a lot and I hope helpful again I stress I am absolutely not an expert and I am reaching out as a child of God a sister in Christ also seeking but not willing to see a need without attempting to meet the need. Ugh sorry. I know you asked for practical advice and I gave you a wordy explanation on who I believe we are to God. For me that is practical advice. I believe ALL our ability to do anything against the enemy in the natural is rooted in our identity as his children. We have authority over the demonic but it isn’t ours it’s his. I think when we don’t root ourselves in that we can easily be lured into a position to be taken out of the fight or worse misused. From my experience the demonic could care less who I am or what I do but they definitely want nothing to do with my Lord. They definitely want to avoid my Heavenly Father. To me Jesus is love to them he is a terror. There is absolutely power in his name for that reason. We can’t do battle as humans we will lose every time but as Children of God Brothers and Sisters of Christ Fully armored- we literally can’t lose. Every person we teach to find their identity in him becomes not just another warrior but another division capable of calling in 1000 angels to the fight. Two or more can call in 10,000. That grows exponentially with each. Demons flee when a true believer acting in his God given authority and properly prepared takes the field.
