We have to have a law where scientists are not allowed to be funded by any government. They can fund themselves & get by on the sale of their inventions.

I cannot agree with the idea that it should be made illegal for any government to fund scientists.
The issue is that a) governments should not be corrupt and should serve the interests of the public it serves, b) govt funded scientific study should be objective and not tied to political or corporate agendas.
I think its OK for govt to fund scientific research that benefits the public it serves. The problem is, government that is corrupt does NOT actually serve the public benefit.
Private funding is also a no-brainer. This is what patrons have done through history.
The real problem of the 20th century was that Big Money corrupted the scientific process, the sponsorship of scientific research, and manipulated things so that the 'science' isn't real science. It's a sham made to look like science.
That said, smaller more limited government is generally a good thing and private sponsorship (of many of the things that governments have been corrupted to take on) should be the name of the game.
Everything comes full circle: all the Deep State, leftist players are either related (As in son/father or father/daughter: Bill Gates and his eugenics father who was associated with Planned Parenthood; George Soros and son; James Comey and daughter; HRC and BC and daughter Chelsea; Ghislane Maxwell and Robert Maxwell), friends (HRC and Huma Abedin Soros) or married.
