last week went to a coin show. They required a drivers license (ID) to get into the show. I left because of that. Usually when I go to coin shows I do not have to show an id so I have never had that situation. I also am late to them and get there when some vendor already left.
last week also went to a gun show. No Drivers License (ID) required or I would of left that too.
maybe my thinking is backwards on these subjects. I think we should ID to vote these days. We need to prove and be able to audit each individuals votes all across the USA. I also believe that should be open record. Meaning we could look up neighborhoods we want to purchase a house in and see the way the people vote in that neighborhood. Even the ones who do not vote.
Yet for PM's and Guns I think we should be able to stroll in and out without giving up a 4th Amendment right. Plus the coin show wants to do that thing where it is for your protection BS and they only want your address and phone number and social security number and anything else they can pull off of your DL to use it against you by sending you unneeded mail and also be able to know who has PM's in their homes. Complete BS for coin shows to do that.

I've been loading up on mining companies and options on mining companies,the past few months. I sold some calls on Friday at .90 that I bought for about .25
that is awesome. I keep hearing that in other places too. I need to look into how to do that stuff. One of the places I lived in the past was a mining town and even then I ignored that logic. I am late bloomer on many subjects though.
Options are very tricky, I would just buy stock if I wasn't familiar with them.

the app is working and so is the website but it is not reporting anything. just blanks for everything. Maybe the east is down and other areas are reporting.

Hunkering down on this Sabbath day. It's in the 20's and blowing all that cold air from the west, filled bird feeders, my son fed the chickens and goats, the barn is warm, water has not froze. Keeping the stove going, and setting in to watch The Book of Enoch, entire movie on Youtube. Boomer getting used to CGI, very trippy stuff but most creators were raised on Comic books and Disney, it looks like a movie I will get into, so it will be time to fix some dinner. Mystery ingredient? Aint no mystery, something with turkey and gravy, we've picked it down, so soup simmering tomorrow.

Here's an idea for Savvy Entrepreneurs who know how to use A.I. Start a company that uses A.I. to Tailor commercials to your liking. As a White, middle aged Male, I want my Commercials with a MALE VOICE and White people. You can hire Diversity to make the Commercial but let me enjoy my life with Commercials that are Harmonious to my WANTS.
Commercials are for bio breaks and snacks and letting to dog go out to pee. The most "diverse" ads are for HIV medications. Let THAT be brought to attention. The media has been attacking you for generations, its just that you know about it now. Remember sit coms that always made the father role as a dufus or clueless male? Started in the late sixties. Advertisers for these programs are in a constant competition trying to sell their product. Stop selling pharma, 45k trucks, fast food services, and sell something that is still valuable to your targeted customer. Better yet, make it an AMerican made product. They have succeeded in making the demographic of white middle aged men think that they are ill. Sell tools, advertise suppliers, sell gym equipment and gear, yes cars, shoes, etc. Sell to the image of that group. The country has woke fatigue, I think this is a great idea, if you can get people to sit through the commercial.
That's another good idea. Have a Channel that only has Advertising for American made, American owned Businesses. My initial idea was because of annoying YouTube Commercials. I can't watch TV anymore, the Commercials are so insulting and Humiliating, they should be Criminalized.
Do a search on products and leave the tab open. All I see on you tube is silver companies.....

One by one my kitchen appliances bite the dust. This time the food processor did not work. Sure it had been sitting on the top shelf of the pantry unused for more than a years. Now I know why. I took it down, cleaned it up, plugged it in, pushed the button -- nothing. No pulse, no chop, nothing. So I plug it into a different outlet. Still nothing. So, I take it and put it on the pile of discarded nonworking appliances in the garage.
But, the meat department at the grocery store I had gone to for years no longer grinds my ham for ham balls. I must do it myself somehow. So now what?
I have a little coffee grinder. I look at it and to me it looks like a miniature food processor. Small batches, sliced ham smaller portions at a time. Frequent cleaning after the grinding. 1 pound of ham, not nine. Doable. Now done.
Ham balls made. Ham balls delivered. Blessings recognized.
Kinda reminds me of when the weed eater no longer worked. The scissors still did.
So, what's the message in this? Something something about perseverance? Something something about getting it done even when its slower and more difficult and not outsourced? Something something about some connections failing but the important ones made?

Sadly we are living in a world that makes crap so when it breaks you have to buy another. I’m ready to sell my sorta new dryer, washer & stove for an old kenmore with knobs. They work ok but nothing like the old appliances. My husband and I both have Facebook accounts just to buy on marketplace. We have recently bought a lot of 50+ year old solid wood furniture instead of buying cheap glued wood furniture. Do you have a kitchen aid stand mixer? That will grind meat just as good as a food processor. If you don’t, it’s labor intensive but this works. My grandma always cut up her chicken (for chicken salad) with scissors by hand. Years ago I saw triple blade scissors for food prep online. Tell me more about your ham balls.
Unfamiliar with ham balls but the process reminds me of ham salad. My granny would get out a manual meat grinder when she’d make ham salad. Labor of love. Glad you found a workaround and made the important connection, Fren.
Remember a few weeks ago (3?) when there was a CME almost every day and some were quite large? Auroral lights were visible at lower latitudes from all the radiation in the air? That is likely what killed your electronic device. Things kind of at the end of their life can be pushed over the edge by the extra electromagnetic radiation in the air. It's good that you were resourceful and figured out a solution.
Distributism
I've seen some extremely confusing takes on distributism over time, but I'll define it strictly as a wider distribution of capital property
(This viewpoint was conceived before our current era of global technological dependency, where it was more possible to be a landowner who owns their own business, and might encourage one owns things like land rather than rents it at interest, etc.)
Have you given any thought to this viewpoint?
It developed out of Catholic social teaching but as I've defined it, it's not really related to Catholicism necessarily (as I've seen other people treat the subject, they seem to exclude a non-Catholic way of looking at it).
interesting, I hd not studied this, but concepts of property ownership theory came up in a Bible and the law class years ago. Franciscans and Dominicans had different thoughts on property ownership rights.
I like how in ancient Israel the land was divided by tribes and families within those tribes. In the USA, I think we are having a controlled termination of the debt-based FED system. With this sort of “Jubilee” wiping out a lot of the debt, and removing the Deep State’s feeding mechanisms of masses of migrants and gangs, we open theway for reasonable prices again + opportunity to MAGA &MAHA.
In the transition period, I think a lot of the attorneys who make life terribly difficult (taxes, estate planning, health system laws) they go bye-bye & get replaced with an AI simplified systems.
The goal: a more just American system, opportunities without the frauds of the last century, or millenia, depending on how far back we want to go.
Assets do not get owned without being paid for and maintained. Assets arent cheap. One doesnt simply make Assets. Distributism would sound cool in theory, much like communism, but it doesnt work in practicality because there will always be the ones who dont get it because you cant produce enough of it. For example, black Friday deals, the item i wanted sold out almost instantly. The producer couldn't make enough of them regardless of their intent to distribute cheaply, and that wasnt even close to a "Asset".
