I sit back and wonder how many of these future 18yo kids will take that money and shove it up their noses. $90k just sitting in a bank account is a tempting amount to blow, in various ways. In a few weeks they be penniless and having to scrape by because of their stupid decisions.
If the culture shifts towards viewing honest, godly lifestyles as the way to live, and conversely, degeneracy becomes disgusting to them, that won't be much of a problem

But we do live in the real world and even if President Trump's ideas all come to fruition WITH the backing of the left, people will be people and they love to take the easy way out in life. $90K for any 18YO is way too much of a temptation. They will either blow it on drugs, booze, or fast cars and girls. Yet, those who have been reared correctly will probably try to keep their cash in an investment that will earn them a good return. But that is a skill set learned in a school that teaches good fundamentals in finance or by parents that want their kids to succeed in life. Yea it can happen, but some will slip through the cracks and a few kids will be poor a few short weeks after turning 18.
I've been banking on the astroturfing of degeneracy being exposed and eliminated as a part of the Plan, so your definition of the "real world" we're "living in" has a big ol' asterisk next to it (;

The Trump accounts are going to be a big deal. Just being able to buy a used car to get to work is a huge deal for many kids. My wife has tutored several kids who are finding transitioning to adulthood is a major financial challenge.
We shall see, but I think we will see many companies make contributions as a perk or incentive to take the job offer.

They couldn’t do it in the OBBB, but they need to do it soon. Otherwise, seniors doing their taxes will realize they still have to pay taxes on 85% of social security. That is because the $6K deductible doesn’t affect the calculation to determine whether you pay taxes on social security. It doesn’t take that much of a pension and/or IRA pay outs to put seniors over the line. $720 savings is nice, but no where near no tax on social security.
Sure hope that includes Soc. Sec. and pension income.

The filming there is a bit absurd. Most of the Cabinet is never shown while speaking. The camera was kept on POTUS the whole time. Somehow I don't think that's what he wanted.
Good news, though i still demand refunds for penalties with obamacare. In fact, i want every dime i paid for in premiums back for a plan i didn't even use. Also, damages related to COVID vaccines and concerning compliance or termination of employment.
