Agree. These were once proud American brands, and our knee jerk reaction has been to boycott them when they go woke. Deservedly so. But I'm starting to think that's the plan. Someone is planting these people into these companies to do stupid woke things, to get our response (boycott) and thus send the brand's value down the drain along with a lot of jobs, revenues, etc. Possibly intentional sabotage to harm our jobs and economy by forcing us to boycott. IDK, just another conspiracy theory.
No it’s what they do, they short the stocks knowing the value will tank, then buy them again when the price is rock bottom.
Something similar happened to airline stocks on 9/11, they found a very effective way to yet again make shekels without any physical work.

Interesting. Speaking of which, I loaded up on airline stocks after the plandemic grounded so much air travel, thinking by now the price would recover. Here we are 5 years later and not much recovery growth. Or at least not as much as I was expecting/hoping

What I do with not participating is leave as little as I can humanly possible in 401K or anything they can control and just use that money to stack metals. Wink wink, know what I mean?

I don't understand how it is legal for a stockholding company to threaten to divest from a company if they don't go along with what the stockholding company wants. I remember when extortion used to be illegal.

This is one of those rare times I think we need more regulations. Firms like BlackRock wield too much power, and with money that is not even theirs. These firms get a lot of business based on 401k's, and if you talk to people that have 401k's with these companies, and ask what they think of ESG scores, or all the WEF agenda pushing, they are almost all against it. These firms should not be able to just do it anyway..
I think we just need to enforce the law and RICO the DS once and for all.
