Trump has bluntly stated he wants some gone. I believe 90% of them are on welfare on steroids, at least in minnesota. It's been reported that 50% lied on their immigration papers. That means another 50% was helping them with the lying, like a sister marrying a brother. However, 90% of them in Minnesota are US citizens now. Do you think Trump really intends to remove the citizenship of tens of thousands of these people and send them back?

I believe that close to 100% will be deported. Including those already naturalized. Fraud, public charge, bribery, and other assorted criminal behavior. Add anti American sentiments and you have covered very close to 100% and I truly believe that Trump is going to make it happen. They are a cancer, and you can’t just remove part of a cancer.
And not just the Somalis. I don’t think Trump wants to leave any festering wounds when he leaves office. The sad loss of the NG woman was a triggering event.

I do not know what the Good Lord wants us to do for these people, but it is OBVIOUSLY not bringing them here! We have also tried to "reform" their corrupt governments, to our cost and dismay. The corruption siphons off even charitable humanitarian aide to prevent starvation. WE give aide, the people still starve, and the corruption continues.

It is made worse by "charity" via dollars, rather then missionaries on the ground who are willing to give HOPE to the people in the Name of Jesus Christ. But the churches decided to stop "converting" people but just to "feed them" with dollars sent to corruption.

The name of the expert is James Shikwati. A Kenyan who has been speaking against such aid for years.

The aid has only artificially increased their numbers. They have been breeding beyond their capacity to even feed themselves for decades.

I’ve heard that 10,000 new ICE agents will start in January when Trumps Big Bill takes effect. With that, ICE can certainly ramp up deportations. Hope everything works out and we DEPORT all of them. They really need to think about self deporting as they then get $1000 and a seat on an airplane out of here.
I think that the illegal ones will be deported, and those who are deemed legal have a choice whether to stay without special support, or go and grift somewhere else.
What they choose to do will indicate what kind of individuals they are.

Stop the money 1st. Then start deporting the leadership. Anyone who held any office in gov or anyone who held any public service job. Then pick off the restnwhen ever they male a misstep.
A few will be deported with much fanfare and self agrandising congratulations. Another few will slip out of the country to avoid prosecution. For the vast majority it will be business and corruption as usual. Nobody will actually be punished. Seems we don't punish criminals any more unless you run a stop sign in Wyoming.

Thank you for bringing realism to this discussion. It’s probably not going to go as well as we hope. But also, I don’t think 90% are citizens. Many are on a green card or some sort of temporary visa, which should eventually expire. Others may have committed immigration fraud and may be removed once that is proven. The other fraudsters can be jailed and maybe deported afterwards, but I suspect many of the nonguilty ones will end up staying. I expect there to be at least 30k still here in a decade, like it or not. I hope to be proven wrong, but I doubt it.
