This won’t be a long review, but it was so much better than I was expecting. My friends and I got there early and met the people coming out of the theater from the previous showing. “You’re going to love it”, was said more than once. I will say that it was more of a boomer demographic, not one young person seen.
As we were waiting, a friend read a Buzzfeed post, where they predicted no one would go and that it would be lucky to make $1 million for the first week. It’s already made $8 million.
I am not a huge movie goer, having sworn off Hollywood decades ago when they started spouting off about politics. But the previews were different this time. I wanted to see every movie. Ashe in America said it right - they seem to be creating a bridge to the Gilden Age.
Anyway, the movie is about Melania’s first 20 days in January 2025, culminating in the Inauguration. I was expecting some comms, and didn’t wait long to see the red folder appear and be flaunted in a couple of segments. No, she is not a world leader but there was a message there.
She was shown to be such a classy lady and you just fall in love with her. But I also felt sorry for her - she obviously spends much time apart from her husband.
Much time was spent on finalizing her Inauguration outfit and ball gown. V For Vendetta theme in that outfit was just put front and center as they tweaked it. I would love to know who had the original idea for the outfit, Same for her white and black ball gown, but it got less attention.
All of the women were wondering how she did 22 hours in those heels. I felt I could see her in pain by the end of Inauguration Day.
It was great to relive Inauguration Day via the film.
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Plus, as we waited for the ads:previews to start, a lot of people heard this conspiracy theorist talking about Q, Pizzagate, Out of the Shadows, Election Fraud, and much more. A woman I was with runs a local Republican Women’s Club and said, “I thought I knew a lot, but am realizing how much I don’t know. And wow, how much you know.” Keep talking with anyone and everyone and go see Melania!
Certainly a better turnout than that loser Springsteen's movie.

It was good, different from any other documentary I've ever seen. You get to see the lavish lifestyle of billionaires in a more intimate way than before.
I was anticipating a sort of exhilarating, uplifting whirlwind of entertainment and so wouldn't have minded if they'd spent less screen time on the death of her mother, Jimmy Carter's funeral, terrorist kidnapping, the Tomb of the Unknowns, three soldiers killed in Afghanistan, etc., but that's just me. Most of the heavy negative gets over with in the first part of the film, after an unbelievably in-depth session with Melania and her designers tweaking her incredible, impossibly constructed outfit that she's poured into—and they were still making her hat on the morning of the Inauguration!
In this film she is loveliness, class, and grace personified. And a smokeshow for the ages.
Appreciate the clif notes! I want to see it, but I don't have time or energy to go to the movie theater. I think I'm going to buy a ticket online. Then watch it once its streaming.

I tried to go but our local theatre pulled it Thursday, likely due to threats of violence so will have to see at a different theatre or wait for it to be on Prime. Makes me very sad that the crazy blue hairs have enough power to make our theatre pulled such a highly anticipated movie. #lakes12
My GF and I went last night. We were not wowed by the movie and it was ok. The score of music was good. We went for this very reason - support FLOTUS! I recommend everyone do the same. It was immediately clear to us that the opening advertisements were predictive programming pieces. Especially notable, "A Great Awakening" (Q slogan) and Project Hail Mary (seeding public minds about the unmentioned coming micronova of our star)
Yet I see on the News Feeds it did.
Rotten Tomatoes rated it low.
Go figure.

My wife wanted to go and I thought I wouldn’t like it, but I was wrong. It was really cool. She’s an amazing woman and we are lucky that DJT has her by his side.
I saw it yesterday and felt it was well done. Just like military families make a huge sacrifice so does the President and his family. Military, President, VP and other top level government families make a huge sacrifice. There is something wrong when athletes (football, basketball, etc.) make millions and our police, firemen, border patrol, military, VP, President, and upper level government make far less ass they put their lives in danger daily and put their country before family. All that money going to NGOs needs to improve salaries of those who sacrifice each and every day. May God keep and protect them from harm.
