All those drug addicts out there, They made them on purpose
posted 90 days ago by crazycloud4 90 days ago by crazycloud4 +102 / -0

I woke up with the thought, The majority of drug addicts are made in Hospitals, when you are treated for pain, they give you all you want, with maybe 1 jar when you get out, yea new scumm sucking addict. Makes me sick to see it.

Don't forget all the coke, meth, weed, MDMA, heroin etc that the CIA facilitated into USA and specifically sent into the ghetto to help produce what our inner cities are today, which (of course) spread into the rest of the country.

Destroying the cartels that the CIA helped build, that's gotta sting! Poor clowns.

Yep, destroy the cartels in South America, and destroy the Pharma cartel. Two for one Mr President 🙏

This is how my husband died back in 2009. Hand injury, tendons torn. He was a magnificent guitar player. Injury fucked with his ability to play. The drugs kept his mind fucked. He went to the heroin and overdosed 3 years later.

Thank you. He was very talented. He would play Classical Spanish on Sunday mornings. And he was beautiful. A Roman God with Polish blue eyes who could speak fluent Italian. At the time, I never knew how blessed I was to meet him. But we never do, do we? Thanks, again.

I refuse gabapentin. It just messes with your head.

Tell your son to try just pain meds. They don't mess with my head.

He has a liver injury so we have to balance that. Turned out we figured out inflammation was the issue so he toughs it out and takes anti inflammatory when it gets bad.

Wow you are actually lucky. Doctors around me are afraid to even prescribe vicodin. I had a tooth push into my sinus cavity and cause a massive painful infection. An oral surgeon had to cut it out and take care of the infection. He knocked me out with Propofol, and even put a fentanyl patch on me due to how painful the surgery would be. Once it was done he told me to take Tylenol for pain for a week. I asked him about a day or 2 of hydrocodone/vicodin and he said he doesn't write those prescriptions anymore because the DEA harasses him every time. What an a-hole - it isn't his pain. I wasn't asking for 30 of them - just 2 or 3. It is the standard treatment for the kind of oral surgery I had.

I was given oxy for my appendectomy after my release of the hospital, and I can see why some people become addicted, i knew the risks of my medication so i only took it every other day until I was out, my meds lasted my entire recovery and I got out of it with no addiction

Even had one last pill I was sble to take for fun

I love the way they make me feel. That is why I never ask for them and use non-narcotic alternatives. I know they can be a problem, so I stay away.

My neck and back have been awful since I was in the military. For years I'd take Tylenol and Flexeril, and when the pain got too bad my doc would give me hydrocodone - the 5/125s or whatever the lowest dose was. I'd take them for a day or 2, the pain would almost "reset" and I'd go back to the Tylenol/Flexeril for another few weeks to a month. Rinse. Repeat. I did that for years until the back and neck nerves got to the point that everything just got numb and I didn't need the hydrocodone anymore.

Then when I finally had my cervical fusion (C5-C7) the surgeon prescribed me some high-dose opiod pill (the pain was massive) and I just couldn't take it. I tried twice but ended up having to call him and ask him to prescribe the normal hydrocodone instead. He thought I was nuts but he did it. I felt better in 2 days. I just can't take the higher doses I guess. They actually for some reason physically hurt me.

I believe that the medical opioid epidemic was an intentional CMS driven initiative. They essentially made pain scale scores a vital sign and told patients that they the ‘right’ to have their pain treated - starting in the early 2000’s. Healthcare has since become a patient satisfaction driven customer service industry making it exceedingly risky for physicians to have anything resembling a confrontational/honest interaction with a patient. Any such interaction often results in 2-3 meetings with hospital administrators who then accuse you of being a terrible person (“lacking empathy”) for being mean to a patient. Despite these obstacles, opiate prescriptions (now all monitored by state health overlords) have decreased significantly over the last decade in my state. I’m personally in the lowest quintile FWIW. Final thought. A significant percentage of our fellow Americans lack anything resembling coping skills, pain tolerance, fortitude, resolve, toughness, etc. and seem to expect to live asymptomatic lives, often demanding prescribed analgesia for the most minor injury or ailment. This is not just a healthcare problem. It is also a problem with the pusilanimous nature of a large portion of our society.

Benzodiazepines are the absolute worse. I got addicted in such a short period of time going through rehab and then went through absolute hell getting off of them. Nine different doctors were willing to hand them out like candy before I did my research wondering what was happening to me and found out the truth about them.

God really knew what I needed when he made me. I can not take any narcotic pain medications by mouth. Immediately puking my head off. Came home from triple bypass heart surgery with OTC Tylenol. It was rough.

Shooting up, forget it. Hard to find veins that are tough and roll around, taunting even seasoned ER staff. With the crowd that I ran with in my 20's... I'm one of the few still alive today. But for the grace of God!

After my wife's surgery she was given a thermos of synthetic heroin. This pain killer jug had 1500 pills in it. I told her the drug is super addictive. She was careful but suffered withdrawal. She took about 5 or six for pain. The rest we deposited back at the pharmacy.

Kek - reminds me of my Grandmother. She had a really bad bronchial cough 30 years ago or so, and her doctor gave her one of those giant-sized liquid medicine bottles full of codeine. Just codeine - no other syrup. I'd never seen that before.

National disgrace. Then when they get to court, they’ll “treat” their addiction with weaker forms of the same thing they’re DOC. National disgrace.

If you don’t take their drugs they get pisaed off at you. As it I volunteered to be a drug addict. Seen too many working in the medical field. 9.5 years of severe debilitating back and hip pain. Worked out everyday because that was the only time I got relief. Surgeries mattresses cars. Nothing worked every treatment….1000’s of $. Cure? Cut out tomatoes potatoes peppers. Healed in 10 days!!

I am very very sorry for your pain, I haven't been to an allow path in over 30 years. My Chiro even treated my broken ribs. They are required to go through more education, on top of the normal. Never wrap your ribs, that causes more damage than without.
