I would start with the 'mentalist' crashing the head table, distracting the Pres, First Lady and Press Secy with his un-magic trick of 'Vivienne', Oz Perlman.
Secret Service should have beat the shit out of the "mentalist" just for being a dumbass. Press clearly had foreknowledge of an "event", was strategically placed, and even appeared to know the approximate time of the "event", indicating some of them were obvious co-conspirators.
So let's unpack a few things right up front...
All of it screams that he had help from someone in DC. Someone with some serious knowledge and capabilities.
You just don't pull off something like that on a whim and without some serious reconnaissance ahead of time.

Live feed was used to "time" his assault for when people were seated. There were probably multiple streaming options. Secret Service not securing the building way ahead of time is the most obvious biggest problem. This indicates that they were in on it and attempting to do a not-so-obvious "standdown". Secret Service needs to be disbanded or moved under DoW out from under the DOJ.
I believe there were sleepers inside the room that were waiting for some chaos to activate.
USSS is under DHS, which at the time of the assassination attempt, was under government shutdown by congress.
Which means the uniparty/DS tried to reduce the effectiveness of security around Trump and allies to make it easier to kill them.
I find it remarkable that this wasn't flushed out. SOP for Secret Service would be to review the guest manifest in great detail, piggyback housekeeping to sweep rooms of interest, and especially the rooms, where maid service was declined upon check in, or had dnd signs on the door during the stay. Scary part is maybe ss checked all those boxes.
Couldn't he have just watched any of the live broadcasts of the event to know where EVERYONE was seated?
