Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evolving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
Rules For the rest of the Site also accessible on the sidebar.

Today is Monday. I am normally a cheerful and hopeful person, but after assassination attempt, I’ve just been feeling low and discouraged. I will recover, but I think this event was a blow. Just so many people discussing what happened, and the idea that half our nation believes the ridiculous lies against our president. So many seemingly normal people have been brainwashed to such an extent that the truth will never reach them. I pray for the next generation.
Kirk hit me. I had to take the day off and go sit in church.
Not easy to do with most churches being lame goodfornothings with locked doors during non-tithe-collection days.
This one struck me as too likely to be staged or controlled somehow to be nervous, though I am tired of democrat satanic hatred.
the site is slow as a turtle turd, amirite?
Yes it is
Unfortunately, yes ..
Well if you’re going to whine you might as well wine.🤣

I watched her and told my husband, she's not letting the wine go to waste! 😹
Hey J1D if we are gonna go might as well enjoy an experience bottle of wine 🍷🍷🍷
Cheers eagle! 🥂

Tiny Dinosaur, Big Design: What a New Fossil Really Shows BY JONATHAN K. CORRADO, PH.D., P. E. * | MONDAY, APRIL 20, 2026
https://www.icr.org/article/15876
A new dinosaur fossil from Patagonia (the southern tip of South America) is making headlines. Conventional scientists say it shows how a group of strange dinosaurs evolved.1 The fossil belongs to the species Alnashetri cerropoliciensis, a small dinosaur about the size of a crow that lived about 90 million years ago according to conventional dating methods.1,2 Researchers suggest this fossil illustrates that these dinosaurs became small before developing unusual body features. But the fossil itself tells a different story. Instead of showing evolution, it shows a complete and functional design.
The dinosaur belongs to a group called alvarezsauroids. These dinosaurs had very short arms and one large claw on each hand.1 The claw was thick and strong. Many scientists think it helped the animal break into insect nests such as those of ants or termites.2 Whether that idea is correct or not, the structure itself is clear. The claw is built to focus force at the tip, a type of design common in tools that dig or break hard surfaces.
The bones of the arm show the same pattern. The forelimb bones are short and sturdy. This creates a compact lever system that sends force through the claw. Engineers often design tools in the same way. Shorter levers can increase strength and control. The fossil shows this system working together as one unit.
This raises an important question. How could such a system form step by step through evolution? A digging claw needs strong bones, joints, and muscles that work together. If one part is missing, the system will not function well. Yet, the fossil record usually shows these systems already complete.
The study claims that these dinosaurs became smaller before developing their special features.1 But fossils cannot show how a structure formed—they only show the final shape of an organism. Scientists must build evolutionary models to suggest how fossils might be related. When new fossils are found, these models often change, revealing how uncertain these evolutionary stories can be.
From a biblical view, the fossil fits a different explanation. Genesis says God created land animals “according to [their] kind” (Genesis 1:24). Animals within a kind can vary in size and shape. This type of variation is called biological flexibility. We see it in many living animals today. At the same time, core biological systems remain stable, signifying biological inflexibility—meaning that a creature may vary in size or proportions, but the main body plan remains the same. The digging claw of Alnashetri shows this type of deliberate design. The dinosaur’s bones and joints form a working system built for a clear purpose.
Creation scientists have proposed that all organisms have built-in systems that allow them to respond to environmental changes. ICR researchers call this continuous environmental tracking.3 In this model, organisms use internal biological systems to sense and adjust to their surroundings rather than rely on undirected evolutionary processes. Other creation researchers have pointed out that the fossil record often shows organisms appearing suddenly with complete and functional traits.4 This pattern is consistent with the biblical idea that creatures were created with purposeful designs.
The small dinosaur Alnashetri cerropoliciensis fits well within this framework. The fossil shows a compact and efficient skeletal system designed to perform a task. The creature’s claw, arm bones, and joints work together as a mechanical unit. The discovery adds an interesting fossil to the dinosaur record. But instead of documenting evolution, the evidence points to something else. It reveals a well-designed organism whose structure reflects purposeful engineering—exactly what we would expect from a wise Creator.

Thanks for this article… it’s very interesting and nice to know there are some scientists out there challenging the evolution theory.

Lots of discussion and opinions re: the gunman in the Washington Hilton / assassination attempt.
I began my personal red-pilling journey well before Q came on the scene, and Q certainly opened up many unseen vistas, and over the years, I've developed an approach to the info war that feels most suitable to me. In particular, seeing all the psyoppery going on everywhere, the matrix people functioning as they do, but also all the opinions and theories thrown around in the - let's call it - non-Matrix collective (although a good part of the collective has simply switched the big matrix for a bunch of smaller ones, I think), I've become quite skeptical of a lot of opinions that many seem to take for granted.
Primarily, my skepticism is born of what I consider to be a very shallow threshold of proof or evidence that some folks seem to adhere to when formulating their opinions (and theories). Give me a strong, solid framework of reasoning, balance, evidence and argument, and I'll think a lot more highly of the opinion or theory, even if I don't agree.
So, as per completely usual nowadays, the theories re: the Hilton incident raise their prominant heads. aka One, 'it's a psyop', Two, 'It's an inside job', Three, 'it's literally ALL a movie', Four, 'something doesn't make sense', etc.
But these days, folks seem to attach to their chosen theory willy-nilly. Almost 3 cm thick (aka extremely superficial or shallow) thresholds of analysis, reasoning, and evidence. aka Just go with your chosen bias and opinion about the whole infowar, and then adopt the theory that fits that most.
Hurrr.... I find it so frustrating, to be honest. At least when Q was on the scene, people who went with theories or came up with narratives that simply suited their a-priori inclinations, those folks got smashed on the Q board. Consequently, a great deal of the garbage was removed in the process. But here at GAW central, we have more of an emphasis on 'being nice'. Which is appropriate. Don't get me wrong. I'm just saying, this sure ain't the Q board, or the chans.
The problem I see is this: instead of a large scale tendency to examine the evidence, the data, to then analyse and come up with theories and conclusions, it seems like the theories and conclusions are all coming first, and then people pick and select the <ahem> data, 'evidence' and reasoning that fits into that.
Hurr...
In any case, the thought certainly occurs to me that, re: the Hilton Incident, yes, people are actually at a whole level of crazy these days, and yes, the propaganda matrix has surely twisted things so much that lunatics and completely unhinged folks would feel perfectly reasonable doing things that are unimaginable in an otherwise normal world.
In short, until more evidence, solid information and hardcore reasoning/analysis comes to light, I have no real opinion on the Hilton thing, except that perhaps, in reality, its entirely possible that this guy did what the normie narrative is portraying it as.
(I also think that Donald Trump actually risks his life on a daily basis, and there is enough insanity out there in the ether now that a loony twisted teacher from Cali could or world actually do <what they are telling us he did>. Time will tell.)

I’m with ya! Keep praying
I see a lot of comments from people who are getting tired of YouTube these days, particularly with how it pushes AI-generated content. I've seen so much fake news crap come from those channels. One claimed that Dell Computers is cutting ties with Microsoft and that they will ship their computers with Linux installed. I'd love for that to happen, but no announcement was given by Dell. One claimed that Bill Shatner and other legacy Star Trek cast members had an emergency meeting with the cast of Starfleet Academy and chewed them out for ruining the reputation of the franchise. Didn't happen. One video about '80s nostalgia talked about watching He-Man, Thundercats, G.I. Joe and Transformers as Saturday morning cartoons and also talked about playing Mortal Kombat in arcades... in the '80s. Nope and nope: those cartoons were syndicated to UHF stations and were shown Mon-Fri, and Mortal Kombat came out in the '90s. Stupid crap. And I keep seeing AI channels talking about God, with dumb video titles like "Most Christians are guilty of this one unforgivable sin that would prevent them from going to Heaven!" or something along those lines. I don't need AI to point me on the path of righteousness. And I hate how the speech pauses mid-sentence inexplicably.
I feel the same! Sick of YouTube, and it is getting worse by the week!
I particularly don't like those AI generated videos that are SERIOUSLY LONG that goes on and on - for like an hour - with double speak - in reality saying ABSOLUTELY NOTHING of value the entire time.
I'm actually kind of impressed how many people listen to these AI slop "documentaries" thinking some esoteric subject or "secret" is FINALLY REVEALED!!! - but it's just a long winded slop video that is completely void of anything useful.
And...YT is completely PLASTERED with this slop - Displacing human voices AND human created content where somebody actually put hours upon hours into producing. It's creepy because my intuition has noted this to remember "life before AI" and "real" content before AI hypnotism became popular.
they're astroturfed to the main page instantly and given fake views, on purpose, to turn people into actual retards, it's the only thing that makes any sense.
These AI videos have completely misleading thumbnails with messages that are not found in the content either. And yes, "FINALLY REVEALED!" crap. I saw a video on Blade Runner and the thumbnail said something like, "Actors reveal a secret about Blade Runner that shocks fans!" I watched the entire 30 minute video and it doesn't even address this claim. Or if there is a working cut of a movie that is different than the final version, it's "THE BANNED VERSION THEY DIDN'T WANT YOU TO SEE!" It's stupid.
I know TOTAL slop...
Not even funny slop
I despise those videos. I have wasted time on them before, now I just move on. There is nothing of value. Just "creators" looking to rope someone in long enough for it to count toward their engagement paycheck.
& the fake animals! We have plenty of real, adorable kitties on the internet. Why TF do we need BS AI versions?!🐸
I hate those fake AI animals too! When looking up videos on meerkats, there is a fake-ass AI-rendered meerkat with a swollen cheek and a bird lances it and worms fall out of it. It's disgusting and fake. A true abomination.
A couple of site observations:
When viewing an image post on its own page the aspect ratio is often wrong. Dragging the image normally zooms the image while keeping the aspect ratio the same. Images on their own page zoom horizontally only. Turning community styling off fixes this issue.
When expanding "View Y more comments" the expanded comments do not show their pepes. That seems like a rare enough occurrence that it wouldn't really need to be fixed.
During the pepe avatar giveaway, posters hidden by "View Y more comments" did not get a pepe. Due to 2 they won't show in the comment thread. I did some spot checks and the only one I found with a pepe must have already had it from 40k karma. There must be a lot of sad frogs around.
There was a Pepe giveaway? Dang, I guess I must have missed it. Is it too late to get one now?
Oh that's sad. But at least there's a reason. Thank you for the info🐸
