Honestly there is no debating a liberal arts student. The term debate implies some sort of logic exists beyond ad hominem to a person's argument. This woman shows how such a debate descends into what I've always know of colloquially as pigeon chess.
The woman out of the gate basically assumes the guy is uneducated (ergo his argument is false), which he then spends 2 minutes explaining to her is factually incorrect. However, she doesn't explain how being an studio art major in school gives her any comprehension of a topic involving anything other than whatever the fuck a studio art major at OU learns (I assume how to act like a raging bitch, the best method of getting high on paint fumes, drunk at frat/sorority parties, and having an unsuccessful only fans account, but then again I have no idea what that specific degree entails). She does however showcase that she went from a biology major, which is a stem degree, to a studio art major because she thought biology is "fucking lame".
Some people like to think a studio art degree is just as important to science as a stem degree, and it should be called steam as a result. Even AI tries to make that claim. Arguments for that could be made, be it via improving data visualisation solutions, or enhancing creative thought processes to help someone think of a problem from different angles. However, and let us be frank here, most people who drop out of a proper stem course and take up an art course of any kind are not seeking to learn how to be rational, or improve their critical thinking skills. They gave up on that by dropping their biology studies. No, they want what they think will be an easy degree path.
Look, I'm not just bad mouthing artists as all being dumb or something. I'm married to an artist, one who studied fine art and got a masters in it. In fucking Italy no less, home of what I would call the epitome of what fine art is. She is intelligent and highly intuitive, and has a cutting understanding of both the human mind and how reliable or trustworthy people likely are to be, a facet of her personality I love and value even beyond the beautiful creations she can make. All that said, I would not expect her to argue from first principles before arguing from an emotional position such as trustworthiness.
This girl in the clip, however, presumes that because of how the guy looks or whatever his base position on whatever they were arguing about is, he must be uneducated, and because he didn't get educated he can be ignored. When he calmly explains how that's wrong, she goes on to treat it as if he is bragging, rather than refuting her assertion. However, at a more fundamental level, even if he was "uneducated" that line of argumentation is still flawed in its reasoning because one does not need a college degree to argue from rationally established first principles.
Tldr? pigeon chess isn't debate, and this girl unfortunately is the epitome of a privileged white college girl. Young & dumb, and best countered in the end with "whatever, bitch, go make me a sandwich" as any debate with them is as valuable as dogmiss. Actually less valuable, as at least nightsoil can be used as fertiliser, or processed into a tanning agent. Her argumentation is the equivalent of toxic waste.

Yeah, that’s the problem. You spend hundreds of hours learning to squeeze the most out of the software and are too tired to learn a newer, possibly better and cheaper solution.
I almost jumped from ArchiCad to Vectorworks dozens of times out of frustration, but that fear of learning kicked in every time.

As an art layman who knows little about art, the only real artist today in my opinion is banksy. The piece that half destroyed itself (secret shredder) the moment it was bought was genius because it was half performance art and never been done before afaik (prob has, in history)
My bother in law is switching from musician to artist. I think its a dumb time to become an artist, and he'll prob fail to launch. That said, it's also (coin flip) equally possible he becomes the next big thing. His latest work was very profane, vulgar and slighly pornographic with a theme of pain and surgery. I thought about telling my sister he should seek out john podesta as a client and become an illuminati artist. They're always looking for art that conveys fear, esp with children, harm, surgery, body morphic mutations, harming children, semi or sub pornographic themes, etc. The elite like disgusting art where people are twisted in form. Lady Gaga, Madonna like forms and aesthetic.

This is a major problem with education these days, the main focus is on confidence, regardless of ability. She is so arrogantly confident even though she is clearly inarticulate and incapable of discourse.
