Buy a (35 pint) 4 gal / per day dehumidifier. Just pull water out of thin air. You'll probably have to treat it, but as long as there's electricity, or even a generator to run your dehumidifier, you will NEVER be thirsty.
Lowe's sells (150 pint) 19 gal per day industrial dehumidifiers.
Be careful. I don't think you are supposed to drink dehumidifier water. At least some of them are made with aluminum coils and the water could be contaminated.
That's distilled water, be sure to add minerals.
I use a Berky for filtration. Minerals will come from my food. 👍

Distilled was first boiled into steam killing everything.
Pulling humidity from the air is done cold and any pollution and germs and shit in the smog is now in that disgusting unfiltered unboiled water.
Humidity is fucking disgusting compared to distilled water.

Water purification "things". Either tablets, filters, evaporation screens, your own personal well, gutter catchment barrels, and the like. Having fifty cases of water is fine, but a family will run through that stash in a few weeks. Gotta have a backup plan, bro.
IMO, people are completely misunderstanding “watch the water”. I strongly believe that water = information.

I lived in Vicksburg a few decades ago and it was the most humid place imaginable, beginning in May and through the end of September. I wouldn't be able to take it now :)
Yeah, right by the river is like living in a rain forest and it is 100 degrees. We are playing in a golf tournament next month in Vicksburg. Up and down those hill where NO AIR is moving at all. Last year it was a heat index of 110. This year I have two portable fans to put on my cart. and a cooler full of Iced down goodies!
How DeSantis allowed them to do this? I live in Florida and we have a lot of MF’ers AI Centers here, I don’t want them.

I usually go to the beach and sit in a chair with an umbrella and a cool drink, and I sit there an I watch the water for hours. I'm waiting for something to happen bit it never does. I guess I'll just have to keep doing the same thing day after day until something happens to the water.
