From what I remember reading in the newspapers in Finland when we got our first terrorist attack here 2017, a Moroccan migrant who had gotten in by pretending to be years younger than he actually was and to be a refugee, from somewhere near East if I remember correctly, who then went for an amok run in Turku with a knife and knifed several women, two of who died, well, one of the survivors of that was an Italian woman living here who had been walking with her toddler child in a pram.
And when she was later interviewed she still said that she still supported their right to get asylum, and that she would still keep taking her child to meet them. I think she was actually working with them previously - and maybe after recovering too - in some capacity, and thought that many of those migrants were "friends".
BTW, since that Moroccan guy had lied about his age, before that knifing he had been placed in a Finnish school, and had spend weeks in class with teenage Finns. Damn good luck that he at least didn't decide to do his terrorist attack then but on a street where he had less time to make sure his victims died, apart from the very first one (the third died because he managed to hit her on a fatal spot right away), because a trio of Finnish men started chasing him, armed with, what from the few photos and videos I saw, seem to be a collection of some sort of blunt instruments, presumably whatever they had been able to find at the spot (local open market place). His run lasted only a few minutes, got shot by a police, unfortunately not fatally.
To be fair, one of those three men who went after the Moroccan WAS an immigrant, but one who had lived here for years, and seemed like somebody who had actually integrated well, he had a cafe on that market square where the migrant started his attack, spoke fluent Finnish, and already had gotten his citizenship here. Typical was though that he was the only one interviewed in the trad media. The other two, who, from the video and pictures you could find, seemed to be very native looking Finns, blond haired and so on, never got any publicity, they didn't even get mentioned.
Also, with one other case of the victims, a woman, there was a migrant standing near her, and in photos close, looking at her, an in the news he got praised for "helping" her, but in those photos and videos I could find on social media the ones actually helping were two blond men, big guys, while the migrant guy was just kind of hanging around.
But anyway, back to that Italian woman - not even getting attacked and knifed hadn't changed her mind. Talk about brainwashed...
