Wasn't sec. 219/1217 part of the NDAA? The Save America Act has some questionable language about digital ID or the like, as I recall. So, the NDAA has been temporarily blocked due to spending on the Iran war, and our local activist explains that https://reinettesenumsfoghornexpress.substack.com/p/this-just-in-the-senate-just-blocked (I hope I got the link right if you are interested in that issue). Personally I oppose any legislation that sneaks in passages attacking our freedom or sovereignty and I hope this Save America Act will turn out to be alright.
