This attack is so indiscriminate i dont see how it cant be a war crime. Theres no way to be sure who else had these pagers other than the supposed terrorists.
We all make mistakes. I dont like terrorists one bit but this is not the way.
I'm in my 30's. 9 years ago i was at work fabricating storage units and had a pile of sheet metal fall and puncture my wrist quite badly, i went to get stitched back up they noticed id never had a tetanus shot and gave me 2 tetanus shots at the same time... If i wasnt still in shock i would have declined but ever since then ive noticed its a lot harder for me to think as clearly as i used to and my memory isnt so great.
Its like trying to see through a thick fog. it can be done but at great effort.
I hear the ADL poured millions into Latimer to get him elected, it was over his stance on Gaza of course not that he pulled a fire alarm to delay a session. But im sure their media will only harp on about the fire alarm.
Judging by that photo Latimer looks like a swivel eyed loon.
I mean... his term doesnt end until 2027.
France is a republic iirc. The closest analogy in the USA to the elections macron just called i guess would be midterms.
I dont remember a president resigning whenever they lost the house/senate in a midterm. A defeat in the midterms would be a bad omen for the future presidential election and also make it incredibly difficult for the president to pass the legislation that he wants.
Very similar situation is about to unfold en France.
Edit: i meant France is a republic.. not a federal... wtf is that.
Russia would lose a conventional war with NATO, Putin has said so himself multiple times, but then strategic defeat would lead to only one scenario, Nuclear war.
And in that arena it seems Russia has a clear advantage.
What separates the good guys from the bad guys is their regard for civilian lives. War isnt just war, War with unnecessarily high civilian casualties are war crimes.
