I used to wonder why they wouldn't just charge, try, and acquit all of them, so that they couldn't be tried later by a legitimate justice system. Then I realized they are still certain they can't lose, like Hillary was in 2016.

You should start by asking them what the goals ARE! Ask them "how do we know when we have enough diversity?" Then wait for them to find a way to fire you.

Thank you! I've been looking for this quote!

They didn't spend more than than minute to find a photo for the cover. They didn't even try to write a catchy title. Just like pedojoe's campaign - they knew the outcome and so didn't have to try. He got 81M (!) votes, she got millions in a book advance. That's all that matters.

I lived in Austin in the mid-90s. Heard AJ for the first time on the radio when he was hunkered down in his house with the black helicopters flying overhead. I never knew what to think about him or whether the helicopters had been real. Then I moved away and only heard about him periodically until the past few years. I thought he was definitely crazy at first. Now I see the things he was right about. No coincidences.

Go to your local (city, county, etc) Republican and/or conservative club meetings. My local clubs had a joint "candidate forum" where they all spoke and did their campaign pitch. People in the audience asked questions. At the club meetings you can just talk to the candidates one on one.

We need to do the ground work to vet the "republican" candidates at the primary stage and make sure we are getting actual MAGA candidates.

1776 is mainly about the events of that year, leading up to the winter in Valley Forge. I highly recommend it. It talks about several times when the continental army was stuck and about to be wiped out, and "divine providence" steps in and provides a way out. Washington saw those opportunities and took advantage of them, and saved the army.

I really liked "His Excellency" by Joseph J. Ellis. I never quite know what to think about Ellis. He is usually neutral politically, but sometimes I detect a bit of a left lean.

I've said this here before... many / most life insurance policies have a clause about not paying in times of extraordinary high death rates. When I got my policy 15 yrs ago they explained it as "you know, war n stuff".

Good job! I have to admit - it was the pre-apology in the title that made me look!

It won't matter. Romney and others will vote to send the country further down the drain. I predict whoever they nominate will get 60 votes minimum.

I heard this on the news (that he may have had cvd), but also he's had many other health problems over the years.

That doesn't really matter. They know that the people listening to him don't know it.

They are also realizing that most people aren't listening to them and they can't control so much what the masses think, any more.
