I voted in the Primary today here in Mass - only reason I became a Republican was to be able to vote in the primaries & try to have some say. My state is blue and they’ve gerrymandered the predominant red areas & mixed them. I know Democrats will win just about everything- they usually do here. In fact some positions on the ballot have run un-opposed for years. Republicans just can’t get it together here. We call it the “Republic of Cambridge” that basically runs things in the State. We usually are allowed a RINO Governor and then all the rest are hardcore Democrats & progressives. Another issue with this state is we have so many Universities and everyone who attends one or teaches at one gets to vote as a resident. Whether they stay after 4 years or not. It’s like trying to change DC. The swamp is more like a spider web extending to all states- some more than others.
This actually happened during WWII - when France was occupied a lot of French said the same thing. Part of it was trying to distance themselves on what to going on around them & live “normal”. It didn’t help them one bit & caused animosity with their neighbors & the Germans didn’t GAF what they thought . Sheep then sheep now.
This totally is true. I have 5 older siblings- all ran out & got their vax passes as soon as they came out. All talked about them & displayed them & were proud. Some specifically travelled to NYC etc in the early days so they could put those passes to use & then prominently displayed their travels. Some up until a few months ago still boasted about what # booster their on. While I do forgive them - I will not forget. My trust in my siblings having my back is shattered. Not one is to be trusted when the shit really hits the fan.
I don’t talk about any of it anymore- unless someone brings it up, then I make my statement & leave it. I got attacked for J6 b/c of RoeVWade 🤦♀️. Although this vaccine stuff coming out is pretty good - but once again the news has Trump at the forefront of it. I keep asking them (my liberal family members) to take Trump out of it. Step back & look at it -good vs. evil. I mention God & they all shrink back. They cannot fight it & they know it - so you get the “I don’t want to talk about this!” . Exactly but b/c YOU brought it up here we are! All I do is pray for these people- almost daily -it’s all I’m left with & the only thing that will change them. HIS will be done. 🙏🏼
Doctors can be arrogant assholes - I once was given a tetanus shot was told I was due for one - and in less than 12 hours I had frozen shoulder syndrome in the arm I got the shot in. Went back to the doctor the next day - he said it wasn’t the shot- I must’ve torn my rotator cuff. My husband was with me when he looked directly into his eyes and said you don’t think the injection had anything to do with this? Doctor said No & left. We knew he was lying- he was dead scared of a law suit. He ended up transferring not long after. Anyways- this episode is what made me stay far away from any COVID jabs. My family & coworkers remember this happening to me & knew I was more fearful of getting some side effect from the jab then getting COVID & didn’t really hassle me about it too much. Everyone I know is jabbed in some form. My BIL Alzheimer’s went into overdrive & in 3 weeks deteriorated rapidly & died. We’ll never know if the jab did that to him. Husband’s cousin was found dead on his floor- supposed heart attack- he was a federal contractor most likely had to get the jab but nobody will make that connection. Coworker was diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer- after being clear the year before. Originally she worried it was from the jab but the doctors have now told her she has the genetic mutation for it. IDK if she will survive. I don’t think people want to make the connection- they would rather blame other outside factors. All we can do is pray.
First let’s just even see if this is a real thing that Biden can even do- we should all know by now to set outrage aside - at least 72 hours lol - and to be honest $10K would only cover the interest on my sons loans and this wouldn’t sway his voting opinion at all. As far as welfare? Sure I’ve seen the abuses when I was a young mother on assistance- but it does help those that really do need it. It helped me when I needed it and it’s currently helping my pregnant daughter. Her & her husband are not lazy- they are soon to be a family of 5 living off $42K a year. We need to stop accusing and attacking each other & instead be supporting and lifting our brothers up. Even if they are ‘lefties’ - the only way through all this is togetherness.
