I actually just take zinc with a shot of tonic water for the Quercetin . When there’s illness going around I double up on the amount & add 2 vitamin D - so far so good… been exposed to 2 rounds of flu in the last month and have not gotten sick!
Good analogy. Walking in the rain I thought- see how we can still walk through a mess but remain largely untouched-? -using a raincoat & an umbrella helps keep us dry for the most part. Just like prayer- it is our umbrella during this storm. Parts of us may get wet - but it will keep us dry & safe during our journey. Prayer is our armor. God Bless.
Yes I’ve seen an uptick on the muh pets are bad narrative. I think they don’t want you sharing love with any creature- sex yes - but love is not allowed. Another way to demoralize & keep you further away from God- who is Love itself.
Lack of focus on God in your life causes society to seek love in lowly places. Satan can take any material object to tempt you- doesn’t matter what it is. I feel addiction is more of a gluttony or starts as that or even sloth. Before you know it you’re in its grip and don’t know how to escape. The 7 deadly sins is mankind’s folly- and mostly because of our ego. We think WE know best- we want OUR will. And so we make every excuse why it’s ok or not that bad. If you feel ok with God watching you get wasted & have an orgy then that’s on you. Would you be ok watching your child doing these things? We know God is merciful and yet that’s our egos excuse to keep offending Him. Let us be a joy to our Creator instead - as he intended. Be Love, Be Joy, Be Charitable- especially to our brothers & sisters who are struggling.
I love that book as well. During high school 2friends died in a car accident- I read this & it helped me cope with it- so I passed it on to a friend of mine & it really helped her so she told her teacher about it and the teacher made her whole class read it. I still have that little paperback. You should read The Great Divorce by CS Lewis. It’s another of my favorites and not that big of a book either.
My sister has had 5 - original two then 3 boosters- her most recent being last month with a flu one. Thankfully she hasn’t gotten sick or died suddenly. Her granddaughter 2 years old just got her first COVID shot.it’s scary how people think nothing of it.
Entire family got the flu at Christmas- Flu A is what I was told everyone tested at that ran to the clinic. Sister & Brother in law all Triple plus jabbed and flu shot- everyone got it but me. They’re talking about running to get Tamiflu to lessen the symptoms and arguing about the efficacy of it. I thought all the shots were supposed to help with that? Meanwhile I just doubled up on my supplement protocol. My husband who got 1 shot got it and I slept next to him all week. They don’t want to hear my advice.
