On December 17, 1936, the same day that Pope Francis (Bergoglio) was born, St Faustina experienced her worst day of suffering for priests. She wrote in her famous diary these words:
December 17, [1936]. I have offered this day for priests. I have suffered more today than ever before, both interiorly and exteriorly. I did not know it was possible to suffer so much in one day. I tried to make a Holy Hour, in the course of which my spirit had a taste of the bitterness of the Garden of Gethsemane. I am fighting alone, supported by His arm, against all the difficulties that face me like unassailable walls. But I trust in the power of His name and I fear nothing. — Diary of St. Faustina, 823
On Sunday, December 17, 2023, lightning struck and pulverized the keys and halo of the statue of Saint Peter, located on the facade of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Rosary of San Nicolas, north of Buenos Aires, Argentina. This is in the home diocese of Pope Francis (Bergoglio) on his birthday, the day before the document approving blessings of gay couples was released by the Vatican. This recalls to mind the famous lightning strike on the dome of St Peter’s Basilica at the Vatican when Pope Benedict XVI stepped down from the active role of the papacy in 2013, which enabled Francis to be elevated to Supreme Pontiff.
I think it’s more like earths magnetic core is weakening and like due north has slowly been moving- another theory is it will weaken to a point where earth will ‘flip’ north to south or visa versa - thus a pole shift
Ascension is also the 2nd Glorious mystery in the catholic rosary - Ascension into Heaven “and when he had said this, he was lifted up before their eyes and a cloud took him out of sight.” This is what will happen to us (or his faithful) when He comes again.
