Without knowing the contents of the Austrailian bill, its fairly obvious on its face that it was intended to target social media and force it to censor on their behalf since social media would've been pretty pliable (outside of twitter) to their demands. But now that Trump put out that statement, it shoots their desires out of the water. American companies must bend to US law first and foremost, after all.
