I went from 300 plus blood sugar plus 3 metformin/day down to 90's on daily basis & 0 metformin. First, I quit alcohol & then I made my own plan - vegetables (no root veg or starch), meat, berries, & dairy. Finally, no fried food & 100 % zero tolerance for sugar. I feel better than i have in at least 20 yrs.
Change that to the solutions are extorted from taxpayers and I'd agree. The only people they sell solutions from government to are the useful idiots. No one with more than two functioning neurons believes the government anymore.

I've had a family member die of pancreatic cancer 11 yrs ago and her surgeon said that operating on a pancreas is like trying to operate on warm butter with a hot knife. There maybe a artificial pancreas in the future, but unless there are some serious advancements made there is no practical way to transplant.

You're spot on there. Social media has fractured America into thousands of splinter groups. You can find any like-minded persons and develop you own virtual tribe. Where once we had three tv channels to choose from we now have thousands if not millions of social media groups, so there is no more common American identity. These new tribes only reinforce the tribes beliefs and people outside these echo chambers become less human. Social media may be the worst circus of all.
Bread and circuses. Sports ball, hollyweird, internet, and crass consumption are the modern day equivalent.
Replace the word sad with rage and I'd agree.
