I've heard them say that it's those idiosyncratic things about him that we champion, that primes them to not trust anything he does. The hyperbole, the trolling, the double-triple meaning, the code talking, the special meanings and in group language that turns them off during times like these when there is a shining example of good and righteous deed done. We love that stuff. Every day we laugh and enjoy it. They dislike those things and haven't spent their time the way we have.
